  • The NHL announced that Edmonton Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner has been named Rookie of the Month for March.

  • The NHL also announced that Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid would be named the First Star of the Month for March.
    • Leon Draisaitl (EDM) and Clayton Keller (ARI) would round out the rest of the Three Stars for 
      March.
  • NHL 3 Stars of the Month – McDavid’s Ungodly Season Earns Him Top Honors

  • The Tampa Bay Lightning and Edmonton Oilers would clinch their spots into the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

  • St. Louis Blues v. Nashville Predators – 1p ET
    • In Nashville the Predators would take on the St. Louis Blues for an early afternoon matinee, and in the first period Tommy Novak and Cody Glass would score to give the Preds the 2-0 lead. In the second period Colton Sissons and Luke Evangelista would score to grow the Preds lead to four. Then in the third period Calle Rosen would score for the Blues, but goals from Yakov Trenin and Philip Tomasino would give the Predators the 6-1 victory over the Blues.

  • Boston Bruins v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 3p ET
    • In Pittsburgh the Penguins would play for their playoff lives as they host the President Trophy winning Boston Bruins, and in the first period Charlie McAvoy would open the scoring for the B’s, but Bryan Rust would score for the Pens to tie the game at one. In the second period David Pastrnak would score for the B’s to take the 2-1 lead. then in the third period Rust would net his second of the game and Jake Guentzel would score for the Pens, but Pastrnak would net a pair of goals to complete the hat trick and give the Bruins the 4-3 victory over the Penguins.

  • Buffalo Sabres v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET
    • In Philadelphia the Flyers would play host to the Buffalo Sabres, and in the first period Morgan Frost would open the scoring for the Flyers, but Kyle Okposo would score to tie the game at one for the Sabres. In the second period Alex Tuch would score a pair of goals, plus Jordan Greenway and Jeff Skinner would score to give the Sabres the 5-1 lead. However, before the period would end Frost would net his second of the game to get the Flyers back within three. Then in the third period Travis Konecny would score for the Flyers, but Tuch would complete the hat trick to give the Sabres the 6-3 victory over the Flyers.

  • Carolina Hurricanes v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
    • In Montreal the Carolina Hurricanes would come to town to face the Canadiens, and in the first period Brady Skjei would score to give the Canes the 1-0 lead. In the second period Paul Stastny and Sebastian Aho would score to grow the Canes lead to three. Then after a scoreless third period the Hurricanes would go on to defeat the Canadiens 3-0.

  • Florida Panthers v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
    • In Columbus the Blue Jackets would go to battle with the Florida Panthers, and in the first period Sam Reinhart and Carter Verhaeghe would score to give the Panthers the 2-0 lead. In the second period Verhaeghe would score two more goals to complete the natural hat trick and grow the Panthers lead to four. Then in the third period Nick Cousins and Eric Staal would score, and Verhaeghe would net his fourth of the game to give the Panthers the dominating 7-0 victory over the Blue Jackets.

  • New York Islanders v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
    • In Tampa Bay the New York Islanders would look to stay in the playoff picture as the Lightning look to punch their ticket to the playoffs, and in the first period Mikhail Sergachev would score to give the Bolts the 1-0 lead. In the second period Tanner Jeannot, Nikita Kucherov, and Steven Stamkos would score to grow the Bolts lead to four. Then in the third period Brayden Point would score to give the Lightning the 5-0 victory over the Islanders.

  • Toronto Maple Leafs v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
    • In Ottawa for Hockey Night in Canada the Senators would play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and after a scoreless first period Michael Bunting, William Nylander, and Radim Zohorna would score to give the Leafs the 3-0 lead. Then after a scoreless third period the Maple Leafs would go on to defeat the Senators 3-0.

  • New Jersey Devils v. Chicago Blackhawks – 8p ET
    • In Chicago Jonathan Toews would return to the lineup for the Blackhawks as they host the New Jersey Devils, and after a scoreless first period Tyler Johnson and Lukas Reichel would score for the Blackhawks, but goals from Dougie Hamilton, Erik Haula, and Jesper Boqvist would give the Devils the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Andreas Athanasiou would score for the Blackhawks, but Ryan Graves, Timo Meier, and Dawson Mercer would score to give the Devils the 6-3 victory over the Blackhawks.

  • Dallas Stars v. Colorado Avalanche – 9p ET
    • In Colorado the Avalanche would take on the Dallas Stars, and in the first period Nathan MacKinnon would score to give the Avs the 1-0 lead. In the second period Logan O’Connor would score to grow the Avs lead to two, but Tyler Seguin would score to get the Stars on the board and back within one. However, MacKinnon would net his second of the game to regain the two goal lead for the Avs with 12 seconds left in the second period. Then in the third period Valeri Nichushkin and Mikko Rantanen would score to give the Avalanche the 5-2 victory over the Stars.

    • In Seattle the Kraken would play host to the Los Angeles Kings, and after a scoreless first period Sean Durzi would score to give the Kings the 1-0 lead. Then in the third period Oliver Bjorkstrand would score for the Kraken, but goals from Carl Grundstrom and Kevin Fiala would give the Kings the 3-1 victory over the Kraken.

In the second period Brett Howden would score to give the Knights the two goal lead. Then in the third period Chandler Stephenson would score to give the Golden Knights the 4-1 victory over the Wild.

In the second period Danil Gushchin would score to grow the Sharks lead to three.
