Then in the third period, Anderson would net his second of the game to tie the game at 2 for the Canadiens to force overtime. For overtime, it would be quick as Ehlers would score his second of the game 3:29 into the extra frame to give the Hurricanes the 3-2 overtime victory over the Canadiens to tie the series at one.
