Colorado Avalanche v. Vegas Golden Knights – 8p ET – Game 3
- In Vegas for Game 3, the Golden Knights look to push the Colorado Avalanche to the brink and take a commanding 3-0 series lead in the Western Conference Final. In the first period, Gabriel Landeskog and Nazem Kadri would score while Jack Drury would score shorthanded to give the Avalanche the 3-0 lead. In the opening 19 seconds of the second period, Mark Stone would score on the powerplay to get the Knights on the board and back within one. Less than four minutes later, William Karlsson would score to get the Knights back within one and Keegan Kolesar would score his first of the playoffs to tie the game at three for the Knights to turn this into a whole new hockey game. Then in the third period, Tomas Hertl would score and Brett Howden would score the empty netter to give the Golden Knights the 5-3 victory over the Avalanche to take the 3-0 series lead.
