Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of April 3rd through 9th.
First Star – Nathan MacKinnon (C – COL)
- Nathan MacKinnon would record five goals and five assists for ten points in four games played for the Colorado Avalanche, and he would kick off the week with two goals and an assist to reach the 100 point plateau in a 4-3 victory over San Jose on April 4th. Then on April 6th against San Jose he would record a goal and three assists in a 6-2 victory. On April 8th he would be held off the scoresheet by Los Angeles in a 4-3 win, but to close out the week MacKinnon would record two goals and an assist in a 5-4 victory over Anaheim on April 9th.

Second Star – Jordan Eberle (RW – SEA)
- Jordan Eberle would record four goals and four assists for eight points in four games played for the Seattle Kraken. Eberle would open up the week with a goal in an 8-1 victory over Arizona on April 3rd, and then on April 4th he would record a goal and an assist in a 5-2 victory over Vancouver. Then on April 6th he would record an other goal and two assists against Arizona in a 4-2 victory, and to close out the week Eberle would record a goal and an assist in a 7-3 victory over Chicago on April 8th.

Third Star – Alex Lyon (G – FLA)
- Alex Lyon would go a perfect 3-0-0 with a 1.67 goals against average and a .959 save percentage for the Florida Panthers, and he would open up his week with a 39 save performance in a 2-1 victory over Buffalo on April 1st. Then on April 6th he would make a career high 56 saves in a 7-2 victory over Ottawa, and then to close out the week Lyon would record 22 saves in a 4-2 victory over Washington on April 8th.
