Today the National Hockey League has announced the Stars of the Month for the month of January 2023.
First Star – Jack Hughes (C – NJ)
- Jack Hughes would record 13 goals and 10 assists for 23 points in 13 games played for the New Jersey Devils. Hughes would score in 12 of his 13 games played which would also see him end the month with an eight game point streak. Hughes would have four multi-goal games, and nine multi-point games.

Second Star – David Pastrnak (RW – BOS)
- David Pastrnak would also record 13 goals along with eight assists for 21 points in 14 games played for the Boston Bruins. Pastrnak would record a point in 10 of his 14 games played in January, and he would have five multi-point games and a pair of game winning goals. Pastrnak would also hit the 30 goal plateau for the sixth time in his career.

Third Star – Vince Dunn (D – SEA)
- Vince Dunn would produce five goals and 12 assists for 17 points in 15 games played for the Seattle Kraken which would lead all defensemen in the NHL. Dunn would collect points in 11 of his 15 games played, which would include a career best nine game point streak.
