- The Carolina Hurricanes announced that they have placed forward Max Pacioretty on IR.
- Pacioretty suffered a Torn Achilles injury.
- This is the second time Pacioretty has suffered this injury in the past 5 months.
- Pacioretty had debuted for the Canes on Jan. 5th and had three goals in five games played.
- The Montreal Canadiens announced that forward Cole Caufield will miss the remainder of the season.
- Caufield will undergo surgery on his right shoulder that will end his season.

- Anaheim Ducks v. Buffalo Sabres – 1230p ET
- In Buffalo the Sabres would play host to the Anaheim Ducks for an early afternoon battle, and in the first period Dylan Cozens and Jeff Skinner would score to give the Sabres the 2-0 lead. In the second period Peyton Krebs would score for the Sabres, but a pair of goals from Trevor Zegras and a tally from Simon Beniot would tie the game at three for the Ducks. Then in the third period Victor Olofsson would record a pair of goals and Krebs would net his second of the game to give the Sabres the 6-3 victory over the Ducks.

- Tampa Bay Lightning v. Calgary Flames – 3p ET
- In Calgary the Flames would play host to the Tampa Bay Lightning, and in the first period Nazem Kadri would strike to give the Flames the 1-0 lead. In the second period Steven Stamkos and Vladislav Namestnikov would score for the Bolts, but goals from Tyler Toffoli and Rasmus Anderson would keep the Flames ahead by one. Then in the third period Anthony Cirelli would score for the Bolts, but goals from Dillon Dube, Jonathan Huberdeau, and Blake Coleman would give the Flames the 6-3 victory over the Lightning.

- Minnesota Wild v. Florida Panthers – 6p ET
- In Florida the Minnesota Wild would come to town to take on the Panthers, and in the first period Anton Lundell would score to give the Panthers the 1-0 lead. In the second period Matt Boldy would score to get the Wild on the board, but goals from Eetu Luostarinen and Carter Verhaeghe would give the Panthers the two goal lead. Then in the third period Joel Eriksson Ek and Jared Spurgeon would score for the Wild, but goals from Gustav Forsling and Sam Reinhart would give the Panthers the 5-3 victory over the Wild.

- Philadelphia Flyers v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p ET
- In Detroit the Philadelphia Flyers would come to town to battle the Red Wings, and after a scoreless 49 minutes Scott Laughton would open the scoring for the Flyers. Lucas Raymond would score for the Wings, but Noah Cates would score to give the Flyers the 2-1 victory over the Red Wings.

- San Jose Sharks v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
- In Columbus the Blue Jackets would take on the San Jose Sharks, and in the first period Timo Meier would strike first for the Sharks to take the 1-0 lead. In the second period Nick Bonino would score for the Sharks, but goals from Johnny Gaudreau and Boone Jenner would tie the game at two for the Jackets. Then in the third period Nico Sturm would score for the Sharks, but goals from Patrik Laine, Gustav Nyquist, and Sean Kuraly would give the Blue Jackets the 5-3 victory over the Sharks.

- Toronto Maple Leafs v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
- In Montreal for a Hockey Night in Canada battle between two Original Six teams the Canadiens would play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and in the first period Mark Giordano and Calle Jarnkrok would score to give the Leafs the 2-0 lead. In the second period Josh Anderson and Rafael Harvey-Pinard would score to tie the game at two for the Habs. Then after a scoreless third period Rem Pitlick would score to give the Canadiens the 3-2 overtime victory over the Maple Leafs.

- Winnipeg Jets v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
- In Ottawa the Senators would look to ground the Winnipeg Jets, and in the first period both teams would score a goal each as Nikolaj Ehlers would open the scoring for the Jets while Josh Norris would score for the Sens for the 1-1 tie. In the second period Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler would score to give the Jets the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period Scheifele would net his second of the game and Cole Perfetti would score to give the Jets the 5-1 victory over the Senators.

- Carolina Hurricanes v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
- On Long Island the Carolina Hurricanes would come visiting as they take on the New York Islanders, and in the first period Jordan Staal and Jesper Fast would score for the Canes while Simon Holmstrom and Brock Nelson would score for the Isles for the 2-2 tie. In the second period Sebastian Aho would score to give the Canes the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Aho would net two more goals to complete the hat trick to give the Hurricanes the 5-2 victory over the Islanders.

- Arizona Coyotes v. Dallas Stars – 8p ET
- In Dallas the Arizona Coyotes would come to town to take on the Stars, and in the first period Radek Faksa would net a pair of goals and Jamie Benn would score to give the Stars the commanding 3-0 lead. Then in the second period Wyatt Johnston would score to give the stars the 4-0 victory over the Coyotes.

- Chicago Blackhawks v. St. Louis Blues – 8p ET
- In St. Louis for an Central Division battle the Bules would play host to the Chicago Blackhawks, and in the first period Jason Dickinson and Sam Lafferty would score to give the Blackhawks the 2-0 lead. In the second period Jordan Kyrou and Ivan Barbashev would score for the Blues, but goals from Reese Johnson and Andreas Athanasiou would keep the Blackhawks ahead by two. Then in the third period Nick Leddy would score for the Blues, but Max Domi would strike to give the Blackhawks the 5-3 victory over the Blues.

- Los Angeles Kings v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
- In Nashville the Predators would play host to the Los Angeles Kings, and in the first period Sean Durzi would score for the Kings, but goals from Mikael Granlund and Matt Duchene in the opening 40 seconds of the game would give the Preds the 2-1 lead. In the second period Adrian Kempe and Quinton Byfield would score to give the Kings the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Ryan Johansen and Craig Smith would score while Duchene would net his second of the game to give the Predators the 5-3 victory over the Kings.

- Colorado Avalanche v. Seattle Kraken – 10p ET
- In Seattle for some late night hockey the Kraken would take on the Colorado Avalanche, and after a scoreless first period Alex Newhook would open the scoring for the Avs, but Ryan Donato would score to tie the game at one for the Kraken. Then after a scoreless third period and overtime it would be Nathan MacKinnon in the shootout to give the Avalanche the 2-1 victory over the Kraken.

- Edmonton Oilers v. Vancouver Canucks – 10p ET
- In Vancouver for what could be Bruce Boudreau’s final game behind the bench for the Canucks, they take on the Edmonton Oilers, and in the first period Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman would score to give the Oilers the 2-0 lead. In the second period Leon Draisaitl would score to grow the Oilers lead to three, but Andrei Kuzmenko would score to get the Canucks on the board and back within two. Then in the third period JT Miller would score to get the Canucks back within one, but Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would score to give the Oilers the 4-2 victory over the Canucks.

- Washington Capitals v. Vegas Golden Knights – 10p ET
- In Vegas the Alex Ovechkin less Washington Capitals would come to town to battle the Golden Knights, and in the first period Alec Martinez and Nicolas Roy would score to give the Knights the 2-0 lead. In the second period Michael Amadio and Byron Froese would strike to grow the Knights lead to four to chase Darcy Kuemper from the Caps net. However, the goalie change wouldn’t matter as Paul Cotter would score to increase the Knights lead to five, but TJ Oshie would score to get the Caps on the board and end the Knights shutout bid. Then in the third period Cotter would net his second of the game to retake the five goal lead for the Knights, but Marcus Johansson would score to get the Caps on the board. However, the Golden Knights would hold on to defeat the Capitals 6-2.
