Noel Acton was named the winner of the Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award. Acton won the award for helping at risk youth in the Baltimore, Maryland area for at-risk youth with his Tender Bridge Foundation.

- In Edmonton, the Avs look to take the commanding 3-0 series lead, while Edmonton looks to get their first win of the series. In the first, Edmonton takes the 1-0 lead when Connor McDavid nets his ninth of the season but the Avalanche tie the game when Valeri Nichushkin scores his fourth of the postseason. In the second, Valeri Nichushkin gets his second of the night. In the third, Edmonton ties it up when Ryan McLeod scores his third of the season but Colorado takes the lead for good when J.T. Compher nets his fifth of the postseason. Mikko Rantanen then closes the contest when he scores an empty net goal, his fourth of the postseason, as the Avalanche get the 4-2 win and take the 3-0 series lead.
