Today the National Hockey League has announced the Rookie of the Month for the month of April 2022.
Spencer Knight (G – FLA)
- Knight would play in seven games for the Florida Panthers as he would go 6-1-0 with a 2.16 goals against average, and a .925 save percentage. In his seven games played Knight would allow two or fewer goals against in five of the games played including a 27 save shutout to close out the season.
- Knight would edge out forwards Trevor Zegras (ANA), Seth Jarvis (CAR), Michael Bunting (TOR), Matt Boldy (MIN), and Cole Caufield (MON) for top honors.
