  • The NHL Players Association announced that the Executive Board has voted in favor of forming a Search Committee to search for a new Executive Director.

  • Columbus Blue Jackets v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET
    • In Pittsburgh the Penguins would host the Columbus Blue Jackets, and in the first period Evgeni Malkin, Evan Rodrigues, and Marcus Pettersson would score to give the Pens the 3-0 lead. In the second period Justin Danforth would score for the Jackets, but goals from Kris Letang and Brian Boyle would give the the Pens the 5-1 lead. Then in the third period Oliver Bjorkstrand and Gustav Nyquist would score for Columbus, but the Penguins would hold on for the 5-3 victory over the Blue Jackets.

  • Chicago Blackhawks v. Buffalo Sabres – 7p ET
    • In Buffalo the Sabres would host the Chicago Blackhawks, and after a scoreless first period Dominik Kubalik would score to give the Blackhawks the 1-0 lead. Then in the third period Dylan Strome would score for the Blackhawks, but goals from Tage Thompson and Owen Power would tie the game at two for the Sabres to force overtime. In the extra frame Casey Mittelstadt would score to give the Sabres the 3-2 victory over the Blackhawks.

  • Boston Bruins v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET
    • In Toronto we’d see some Original Six action as the Maple Leafs would take on the Boston Bruins, and in the first period Trent Frederic would strike for the B’s, but goals from Ilya Mikheyev, William Nylander, and Nicholas Abruzzese would give the Leafs the 3-1 lead. Then after a scoreless second period Jake DeBrusk would score for the B’s, but Nylander’s second of the game and a tally from Pierre Engvall would give the Maple Leafs the 5-2 victory over the Bruins.

  • Florida Panthers v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
    • In Montreal the Canadiens would take on the Florida Panthers, and in the first period Ben Chiarot would score for the Panthers, but Jordan Harris, Mike Hoffman, Cole Caufield, and Brendan Gallagher would score to give the Habs the 4-1 lead. In the second period Caufield would net his second of the game, and Mathieu Perreault, Jake Evans, and Christian Dvorak would score to give the Habs the 8-1 lead. Then in the third period Noel Acciari would score for the Panthers, but Caufield would score to complete the hat trick and Tyler Pitlick would score to give the Canadiens the 10-2 victory over the Panthers.
  • Detroit Red Wings v. New Jersey Devils – 7p ET
    • In New Jersey the Devils would battle the Detroit Red Wings, and in the first period Michael Rasmussen would score for the Wings and Dawson Mercer would score for the Devils for the 1-1 tie. In the second period Moritz Seider would strike for the Wings while Nolan Foote would score for the Devils for the 2-2 tie. Then in the third period Fabian Zetterlund would score for the Devils, but goals from Joe Veleno, Pius Suter, and Tyler Bertuzzi would give the Red Wings the 5-3 victory over the Devils.

    • At Madison Square Garden the New York Rangers would host the Washington Capitals, and after a scoreless first period Justin Schultz and John Carlson would score for the Caps, and Filip Chytil and Alexis Lafreniere would score for the Rangers for the 2-2 tie. then in the third period Dryden Hunt would score for the Rangers to give them the 3-2 victory over the Capitals.

  • Ottawa Senators v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET
    • In Philadelphia the Flyers would take on the Ottawa Senators, and in the first period James van Riemsdyk would score to give the Flyers the 1-0 lead. In the second period Josh Norris would score to tie the game at one for the Sens. Then in the third period Owen Tippett would score for the Flyers, but Travis Hamonic, Brady Tkachuk, and Austin Watson would score to give the Senators the 4-2 victory over the Flyers.

  • Tampa Bay Lightning v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
    • On Long Island the New York Islanders would host the Tampa Bay Lightning, and in the first period Jean-Gabriel Pageau would strike for the Isles and Steven Stamkos would score for the Bolts for the 1-1 tie. In the second period Kieffer Bellows and Josh Bailey would score for the Isles to take the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period Zdeno Chara would score for the Isles, but Stamkos would net a pair to complete the hat trick and Corey Perry, Ryan McDonagh, and Brandon Hagel would score for the Lightning to take the 6-4 victory over the Islanders.
  • Vegas Golden Knights v. St. Louis Blues – 8p ET
    • In St. Louis the Blues would battle the Vegas Golden Knights, and in the first period Mark Stone would score for the Knights while David Perron would score for the Blues for the 1-1 tie. In the second period Jack Eichel and Zach Whitecloud would score for the Knights and Ryan O’Reilly and Jordan Kyrou would strike for the Blues for a 3-3 tie. Then in the third period O’Reilly would net his second of the game for the Blues, but Eichel would net his second of the game and William Karlsson, Jonathan Marchessault, and Max Pacioretty would score to give the Golden Knights the 7-4 victory over the Blues.

  • Colorado Avalanche v. Minnesota Wild – 8p ET
    • In Minnesota the Wild would host the Colorado Avalanche, and in the first period Jordan Greenway and Tyson Jost would score for the Wild to take the 2-0 lead. In the second period Nazem Kadri would strike for the Avs, but Kirill Kaprizov would score to keep the Wild ahead by two. then in the third period Greenway would net his second of the game to give the Wild the 4-1 victory over the Avalanche.

    • In the Winnipeg the Jets would look to douse the Calgary Flames, and in the first period Matthew Tkachuk would score for the Flames and Blake Wheeler would score for the Jets for the 1-1 team. In the second period Mason Appleton would score to give the Jets the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Brenden Dillon would score to give the Jets the 3-1 victory over the Flames.

  • Anaheim Ducks v. Dallas Stars – 830p ET
    • In Dallas the Stars would take on the Anaheim Ducks, and in the first period Max Comtois would score to give the Ducks the 1-0 lead. In the second period Troy Terry would score for the Ducks, but goals from Thomas Harley and Joel Hanley would tie the game at two for the Stars. Then in the third period Jason Robertson and Vladislav Namestnikov would score to give the Stars the 4-2 victory over the Ducks.

    • In Edmonton the Oilers would take on the Vancouver Canucks, and in the first period JT Miller would score to give the Canucks the 1-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period Connor Garland would score for the Canucks, but goals from Brett Kulak and Tyson Barrie would tie the game at two for the Oilers. After a scoreless overtime period it would be Devin Shore would score the shootout winner to give the Oilers the 3-2 victory over the Canucks.

    • In Seattle the Kraken would take on the San Jose Sharks, and in the first period Yanni Gourde and Adam Larsson would score to give the Kraken the 2-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period Victor Rask would score to give the Kraken the 3-0 victory over the Sharks.

  • Nashville Predators v. Arizona Coyotes – 1030p ET
    • In Arizona the Coyotes would play their final game at Gila River Arena as they would host the Nashville Predators, and in the first period Shayne Gostisbehere would score for the Yotes, but goals from Colton Sissons, Ryan Johansen, Eeli Tolvanen, and Mikael Granlund would give the Preds the 4-1 lead. In the second period Travis Boyd and Jack McBain would score to bring the Yotes back within one. Then in the third period Michael Carcone would score and Gostisbehere would net his second of the game to give the Coyotes the 5-4 victory over the Predators.
