Today the National Hockey League has announced the Rookie of the Month for the month of January 2022.
Anton Lundell (C – FLA)
- Lundell would be named the Rookie of the Month for the month of January after recording three goals and 14 assists for 17 points in 15 games played for the Florida Panthers.
- Lundell would record four multi-point games, and record a five point game to end the month.
- Lundell would also record two three game point streaks in the month of January.
- Lundell would edge out Kaapo Kahkonen and Matt Boldy of Minnesota, Michael Bunting (TOR), Tanner Jeannot (NAS), and Moritz Seider (DET) for the Rookie of the Month honors.
