Today the National Hockey League has announced the Stars of the Month for the month of January 2022.
First Star – Jonathan Huberdeau (LW – FLA)
- Huberdeau would lead the NHL in assists (19) and points (25) in 15 games played as the Florida Panthers would rise to first place in the League. Huberdeau would record six goals during the month of January along with recording at least a point in 13 of the 15 games he played in for the month. Huberdeau would also record seven multi-point games for the Panthers.

Second Star – Juuse Saros (G – NAS)
- Saros would go 8-2-2 in 12 games for the Nashville Predators, and he would record a 2.49 goals against average with a .934 save percentage to help the Preds into second place of the Central Division. Saros would make 35+ saves in eight games, and would highlight the month with a 46 save victory over Los Angeles earlier in the month.

Third Star – Bryan Rust (RW – PIT)
- Rust would net ten goals and 11 assists for 21 points in 11 games played for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Rust would have seven multi-point games, and would start 2022 with 7 goals and 4 assists for 11 points in his first three games of the month.
