  • The NHL announced St. Louis Blues forward Jordan Kyrou as First Star of the Week.
    • Jack Hughes (NJ) and Jonathan Huberdeau (FLA) would round out the rest of the Three Stars.
  • NHL Stars of the Week – Kyrou’s Classic

  • The NHL announced the game between Ottawa and Seattle on Jan. 6th has been postponed.

  • Edmonton Oilers v. New York Rangers – 7p ET
    • At Madison Square Garden the New York Rangers would host the Edmonton Oilers, and in the first period Alexis Lafreniere would score to give the Rangers the 1-0 lead. In the second period Barclay Goodrow would score to grow the Rangers lead to two, but Ryan McLeod would score to bring the Oilers back within one. Then in the third period Chris Kreider and Ryan Strome would score to give the Rangers the 4-1 victory over the Oilers.
