Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of December 27th through January 2nd.
First Star – Jordan Kyrou (C – STL)
- Kyrou would earn top honors after recording three goals and four assists for seven points in two games played for the St. Louis Blues. On Dec. 29th he would record a goal and two assists in a 4-2 victory over Edmonton. Then on January 1st at the Winter Classic Kyrou would record two goals and two assists as the Blues would defeat Minnesota 6-4.

Second Star – Jack Hughes (C – NJ)
- In three games played Hughes would record three goals and five assists for the New Jersey Devils. To open the week Hughes would record a goal and two assists in a 4-3 victory over Buffalo on Dec. 29th. Then on Dec. 31st he would record two goals and an assist in a 6-5 overtime victory over Edmonton. To close out the week Hughes would record two assists in the Devils 4-3 overtime victory over Washington on Jan. 2nd.

Third Star – Jonathan Huberdeau (LW – FLA)
- Huberdeau would record a goal and seven assists in three games played for the Florida Panthers. He would open up the week by being held off the scoresheet by the New York Rangers on Dec. 29th., but would then record a goal and four assists on Dec. 30th in a 9-3 victory over Tampa Bay. To close out the week Huberdeau would record three assists in a 5-2 victory over Montreal on Jan. 1st.
