    • The Sabres acquired goaltender Malcom Subban.

  • The Nashville Predators unveiled their 2022 Stadium Series jerseys.

  • The Tampa Bay Lightning also unveiled their 2022 Stadium Series jerseys.

Game Recaps

  • Colorado Avalanche v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
    • In Montreal the Canadiens would play host to the Colorado Avalanche, and after a scoreless first period Ben Chiarot would score for the Habs, but goals from Valeri Nichushkin and Cale Makar would give the Avs the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Andre Burakovsky and Gabriel Landeskog would score to give the Avalanche the 4-1 victory over the Canadiens.
  • St. Louis Blues v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
    • In Tampa Bay the Lightning play the St. Louis Blues for the second time in three days, and in the first period Ondrej Palat would score to give the Bolts the 1-0 lead. In the second period Brandon Saad would score to tie the game at one. Then in the third period Pavel Buchnevich would score for the Blues, but Anthony Cirelli would score and Victor Hedman would net a pair to give the Lightning the 4-2 victory over the Blues.

  • Buffalo Sabres v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET
    • In the other part of Florida the Panthers would host the Buffalo Sabres, and in the first period the Sabres would get a pair of goals from Vinnie Hinostroza and a tally from Dylan Cozens to take the 3-0 lead. In the second period Casey Mittelstadt would strike for the Sabres, but goals from Lucas Carlsson, Sam Reinhart, and Aaron Ekblad would bring the Panthers back within one. Then in the third period Ekblad would net his second of the game, Anton Lundell would net a pair, and Jonathan Huberdeau would score to give the Panthers the 7-4 comeback victory over the Sabres.

  • Chicago Blackhawks v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET
    • In Washington the Capitals would play host to the Chicago Blackhawks, and in the first period Alex DeBrincat would score to give the Blackhawks the 1-0 lead. In the second period Dominik Kubalik would score for the Blackhawks, but goals from Nic Dowd and Evgeny Kuznetsov would tie the game at two. Then in the third period Garnet Hathaway would score for the Caps, but Seth Jones would score to tie the game and send it to overtime. After an extra five minutes couldn’t give us a winner, it would be Patrick Kane in the shootout to give the Blackhawks the 4-3 victory over the Capitals.

  • Ottawa Senators v. Carolina Hurricanes – 7p ET
    • In Carolina the Hurricanes would host the Ottawa Senators, and in the first period Adam Formenton would score to give the Sens the 1-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period Teuvo Teravainen and Andrei Svechnikov would score for the Canes, but Formenton’s second of the game and a tally from Josh Norris would give the Senators the 3-2 victory over the Hurricanes.

  • San Jose Sharks v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
    • In Long Island the New York Islanders would host the San Jose Sharks, and in the first period Nick Bonino would score for the Sharks, and Mathew Barzal would score for the Isles. After a scoreless second and third period Erik Karlsson would score to give the Sharks the 2-1 overtime victory over the Islanders.
  • Boston Bruins v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
    • In Nashville, the Predators hot the Bruins. In the first, Boston takes the 1-0 lead when Jake DeBrusk finds the twine for his fourth goal. In the second period, Brandon Carlo strikes 30 seconds into the period with his second goal to give the Bruins the 2-0 lead and win over the Predators after a scoreless third period.

  • New Jersey Devils v. Minnesota Wild – 8p ET
    • In the land of 10,000 Lakes, the Wild play host to the New Jersey Devils. In the first, the Wild jump to the 1-0 lead when Kirill Kaprizov strikes for his eighth goal of the season. The Wild make it a 2-0 lead when Rem Pitlick strikes for his fifth of the year. In the second, Kaprizonv strikes again for his second of the night as the Wild take the 3-0 lead. New Jersey then gets on the board when Ryan Graves scores his second goal of the year. The Devils then come within a goal when Tomas Tatar nets his fifth of the year. The Wild re-gain the two goal lead when Dmitry Kulikov scores for his second of the year. In the third, Ryan Hartman finds the back of the net for his 13th of the year as the Wild get the 5-2 win over the New Jersey Devils.
  • Scott’s TXHT Recap – Wild Defeat the Devils 5-2
  • Columbus Blue Jackets v. Dallas Stars – 830p ET
    • In Dallas, the Stars host the Blue Jackets. In the first period, Jason Robertson strikes with his sixth of the year to give the Stars the 1-0 lead. Boone Jenner the finds the net for his 11th of the year to tie the game. In the second, Alexandre Teixer scores his seventh of the year as the Blue Jackets take the 2-1 lead. The Stars make it a tie contest when Tyler Seguin strikes with this sixth of the year. Jason Robertson then scores his second of the night as the Stars take the 3-2 lead and win after a scoreless third period.

  • Calgary Flames v. Los Angeles Kings – 1030p ET
    • In the City of Angels, the Kings look to extinguish the Flames. In the first period, the Kings take the 1-0 lead when Alex Iafallo strikes with his ninth of the year. Calgary ties the game after Andrew Mangiapane scores his 16th of the year, with a power play goal. The Flames then take the 2-1 lead when Milan Lucic scores a power play goal of his own, his seventh of the year. In the second period, Matthew Tkachuk scores his 11th, as the Flames take the two goal lead. Los Angeles comes within a goal after Alexander Edler scores his first of the year. The Flames go on to get the 3-2 win over the Kings after a scoreless third period.
