- The NHL would name Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin as the First Star of the Week.
- Charlie McAvoy (BOS) and Troy Terry (ANA) would round out the rest of the Three Stars.
- NHL Stars of the Week – Ovi’s Historic Rise to Top Star of the Week
- The NHL announced that they have postponed the Ottawa Senators games through November 20th due to COVID-19.
- The Sens games at New Jersey (Nov. 16th), v. Nashville (Nov. 18th), and v. NY Rangers (Nov. 20th) will be rescheduled to a later date.
- The Sens currently have 10 players on the COVID-19 Protocols list.

- New York Islanders v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
- In Tampa Bay the Lightning would play host to the New York Islanders, and in the first period Mathew Barzal would open the scoring for the Isles, but goals from Mathieu Joseph and Anthony Cirelli would give the Bolts the 2-1 lead. Then after a scoreless second period Brayden Point and Steven Stamkos would score to give the Lightning the 4-1 victory over the Islanders.
- Detroit Red Wings v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
- In Columbus the Blue Jackets would host the Detroit Red Wings, and in the first period Dylan Larkin would strike to give the Wings the 1-0 lead. In the second period Michael Rasmussen would score to grow the Wings lead to two, but the Jackets would strike as they would get goals from Boone Jenner and Adam Boqvist to tie the game at two. then in the third period Lucas Raymond would score for the Wings, but goals from Yegor Chinakhov, Zach Werenski, and Alexandre Texier would score to give the Blue Jackets the 5-3 victory.
