Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of April 19th through 25th.
First Stars – Patrick Marleau (C – SJ) and Jane Vergara (Clinical Nurse Educator Generalist)

- Marleau would surpass two major milestones this past week as he would surpass “Mr. Hockey” Gordie Howe to become the all time games played leader with his 1,768th career NHL game on April 19th against the Vegas Golden Knights. Marleau would then become the 4th player in NHL history to skate in 900 consecutive regular season games.

Second Star – Cam Talbot (G – MIN)
- Talbot would backstop the Wild to a 3-0-0 record while setting a 1.67 GAA and a .953 save percentage for the week. Talbot would earn a pair of victories against the Coyotes as he would make 22 saves on April 19th and 39 saves on April 21st in 5-2 and 4-1 victories respectively. Then to close out the week he would make 40 saves in a 4-2 victory over the Kings on April 23rd.

Third Star – Jonathan Huberdeau (LW – FLA)
- In four games played for the Panthers, Huberdeau would lead the NHL with a goal and six assists for 7 points. Against Columbus Huberdeau would record an assist on April 19th and a goal and two assists on April 20th in a 4-2 and 5-1 victory respectively. Then against Carolina he would pick up an assist on Aprill 22nd in a 4-2 defeat, and two assists in a 4-3 overtime victory on April 24th.
