- The New Jersey Devils announced that they have hired Braden Birch.
- Birch has been hired as an Assistant General Manager.
- The Carolina Hurricanes announced that they have re-signed forward Mark Jankowski.
- Jankowski signed a 2 year deal that will carry an AAV of $1.85 million per season.
- The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that they have fined Buffalo Sabres forward Beck Malenstyn.
- Malenstyn would be fined $3,515.63 for goalie interference against Montreal Canadiens goaltender Jakub Dobes on Sunday night during Game 3.
- The fine is the maximum allowable per the CBA.
- DoPS also announced that they have fined Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj.
- Xhekaj would be fined $3,385.42 for roughing Sabres forward Sam Carrick during Game 3 on Sunday night.
- The fine is the maximum allowable per the CBA.

Colorado Avalanche v. Minnesota Wild – 8p ET – Game 4
- In Minnesota, the Wild look to tie the series against Colorado and in the first Minnesota took the 1-0 lead with Danila Yurov’s first career postseason NHL goal on the Wild power play. In the second, Colorado tied the game with Nazem Kadri’s second goal of the postseason on the Avs power play. In the third, Colorado took the 2-1 lead with Ross Colton’s first career NHL postseason goal but then Minnesota tied it up with Nico Sturm scored his first goal of the postseason. Then, Parker Kelly scored his first career goal in the postseason to put the Avs up 3-2 and then Nathan MacKinnon netted his sixth with an empty netter to put Colorado up 4-2. Brock Nelson then scored his second of the postseason on an empty net as the Avalanche downed the Wild 5-2 to take the 3-1 series lead.
