- Florida Panthers v. Carolina Hurricanes – 8p ET – Game 2
- In Carolina for Game 2 the Hurricanes would look to even up the series at one game a piece against the Florida Panthers, and in the first period Jalen Chatfield would score off of a deflection to give the Canes the 1-0 lead. In the second period Aleksander Barkov would score a nifty goal to tie the game at one for the Panthers. Then after a scoreless third period this series would require overtime for the second consecutive game in a row, and in the extra frame Matthew Tkachuk would net the game winner for the second straight game, but this time 1:51 into the first overtime period to give the Panthers the 2-1 victory to take the 2-0 series lead over the Hurricanes.
