News

  • The Premier Hockey Federation announced their first two end of season award winners.
    • First the PHF announced that Boston Pride goaltender Corinne Schroeder as the 2023 PHF Rookie of the Year.

    • Then Pride forward Loren Gabel was named as the 2023 PHF Newcomer of the Year.

  • The Colorado Avalanche would clinch their spot in the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Game Recaps

  • Buffalo Sabres v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET
    • In Florida the Panthers would host the Buffalo Sabres as both teams would fight for their playoff lives, and in the first period Dylan Cozens would open the scoring while on the powerplay for the Sabres, but Aaron Ekblad would also strike on the powerplay to tie the game at one for the Panthers. The after a scoreless second period Matthew Tkachuk would score to give the Panthers the 2-1 victory over the Sabres.

  • Columbus Blue Jackets v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET
    • In Toronto the Maple Leafs would take on the Columbus Blue Jackets, and in the first period Zach Aston-Reese would open the scoring for the Leafs, but Jack Roslovic would score to tie the game at one for the Jackets. In the second period Alex Kerfoot would strike to give the Leafs the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Eric Robinson would score for the Jackets, but Aston-Reese would score his second of the game and Auston Matthews would score to give the Maple Leafs the 4-2 victory over the Blue Jackets.

  • Detroit Red Wings v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
    • It would be an Original Six battle as the Montreal Canadiens would play host to the Detroit Red Wings, and in the first period Lucas Raymond and David Perron would score to give the Wings the 2-0 lead. In the second period Matt Luff and Joe Veleno would score to grow the Wings lead to four. Then in the third period Perron would net his second of the game to give the Red Wings the 5-0 victory over the Canadiens.

  • Ottawa Senators v. Carolina Hurricanes – 7p ET
    • In Carolina the Hurricanes would go to battle with the Ottawa Senators, and in the first period Jesper Kotkaniemi and Brady Skjei would score to give the Canes the 2-0 lead. In the second period Claude Giroux would score to get the Sens on the board and back within one. Then in the third period Brady Tkachuk would score to tie the game at two for the Sens to force overtime. In the extra frame Martin Necas would score for the Hurricanes to defeat the Senators 3-2.

  • Pittsburgh Penguins v. New Jersey Devils – 7p ET
    • In New Jersey the Pittsburgh Penguins would come to town to take on the Devils, and in the first period Dougie Hamilton and Dawson Mercer would score to give the Devils the 2-0 lead. In the second period Timo Meier would score and Mercer would net his second of the game to grow the Devils lead to four. Then in the third period Bryan Rust would score for the Pens, but Mercer would score to complete the hat trick to give the Devils the 5-1 victory over the Penguins.

  • Philadelphia Flyers v. St. Louis Blues – 8p ET
    • In St. Louis the Philadelphia Flyers would come to town to battle the Blues, and in the first period Jordan Kyrou would score to give the Blues the 1-0 lead. In the second period Tyler Pitlick and Justin Faulk would score to grow the Blues lead to three. Then in the third period James van Riemsdyk and Morgan Frost would score for the Flyers, but the Blues would get a goal from Alexey Toropchenko to defeat the Flyers 4-2.

  • Vegas Golden Knights v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
    • In Nashville the Predators would play host to the Vegas Golden Knights, and in the first period Tommy Novak would score a pair of goals to give the Preds the 2-0 lead. In the second period Alex Pietrangelo would net a pair of goals to tie the game at two for the Knights. Then after a scoreless third period Cody Glass would score on the powerplay to give the Predators the 3-2 overtime victory over the Golden Knights.

  • Chicago Blackhawks v. Calgary Flames – 9p ET
    • In Calgary the Flames would take on the Chicago Blackhawks, and in the first period Tyler Toffoli would score for the Flames, but goals from Andreas Athanasiou and Jujhar Khaira would give the Blackhawks the 2-1 lead. In the second period Noah Hanafin would score to tie the game at two for the Flames. Then in the third period Mikael Backlund would score for the Flames, but goals from Athanasiou and Austin Wagner would give the Blackhawks the 4-3 victory over the Flames.

  • Seattle Kraken v. Vancouver Canucks – 10p ET
    • In Vancouver the Seattle Kraken would come to town to take on the Canucks, and in the first period Elias Pettersson and Anthony Beauvillier would score to give the Canucks the 2-0 lead, but Yanni Gourde would score to get the Kraken on the board and back within one. In the second period Branson Tanev, Jordan Eberle, and Jaden Schwartz would score to give the Kraken the 4-2 lead. Then in the third period Matty Beniers would score to give the Kraken the 5-2 victory over the Canucks.

  • Edmonton Oilers v. Los Angeles Kings – 1030p ET
    • In Hollywood the Los Angeles Kings would take on the Edmonton Oilers, and after a scoreless first period Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would score to give the Oilers the 1-0 lead. Then in the third period Viktor Arvidsson would strike for the Kings to tie the game at one, but goals from Leon Draisaitl and Darnell Nurse would give the Oilers the 3-1 victory over the Kings.

  • Colorado Avalanche v. San Jose Sharks – 1030p ET
    • In San Jose the Sharks would play host to the Colorado Avalanche, and in the first period Jack Johnson and Evan Rodrigues would score to give the Avs the 2-0 lead. In the second period Kevin Labanc would score to get the Sharks back within one, but a tally from Nathan MacKinnon would reclaim the two goal lead for the Avs. Then in the third period Jacob Peterson would tally and Labanc would score his second of the game to tie the game at three to force overtime for the Sharks. In the extra frame MacKinnon would net his second of the game to give the Avalanche the 4-3 overtime victory over the Sharks.
