- The Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes unveiled their jerseys for the 2023 NHL Stadium Series.
- The Hurricanes jersey were previously leaked, and there were no changes made to them.
- They are a black base with red and grey stripes on the bottom trim and sleeves.

- This jersey is not what I was expecting and was sorely disappointed. The numbers on them are ok, but doesn’t boost the overall look of the jersey. The pants and socks give it a more complete look, but still not a great jersey.

- The Vancouver Canucks came to terms with forward Andrei Kuzmenko.
- Kuzmenko signed a two year extension worth $11 million, and will carry an AAV of $5.5 million per season.

- Boston Bruins v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
- In Tampa, the Lightning welcome the Bruins. In the first, Brandon Hagel scores on the power play, his 19th of the year, to put Tampa Bay up 1-0. In the second, Brad Marchand’s 16th of the year ties the game for the Bruins. In the third, Brayden Point scores his 28th of the year to put the Bolts up 2-1 but then Pavel Zacha nets his ninth of the year to tie the game for Boston. Then, Victor Hedman scores his third of the year as the Lightning strike down the Bruins for the 3-2 win.

- Detroit Red Wings v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
- In an Original Six match-up in Montreal, the Canadiens welcome the Red Wings. In the first, Michael Rasmussen’s ninth of the year puts Detroit up 1-0 but then Michael Pezzetta scores his third of the year to tie the game for Montreal. In the second, Jonatan Berggren’s eighth of the year on a Detroit power play gives the Red Wings the lead once again but then Rafael Harvey-Pinard’s second of the year ties the games for the Habs. Oskar Sundqvist’s seventh of the year gives Detroit once more but then Harvey-Pinard scores his second of the night to make it a 3-3 game. In overtime, Robby Fabbri scores his fourth of the year as the Red Wings escape with the 4-3 win over the Canadiens.

- Pittsburgh Penguins v. Washington Capitals – 7p ET
- In the Nation’s Capital, the Capitals host their arch rivals in the Penguins. In the first, Alex Ovechkin scores a power play goal, his 32nd of the year, to put Washington up 1-0. In the second, Danton Heinen nets his fifth of the year to tie the contest for Pittsburgh. In the third, Marcus Johansson nets his 13th of the year to give the Caps the lead once more but then Bryan Rust strikes with his 11th of the year to tie the game for the Pens. After a scoreless overtime, Nicklas Backstrom hits the game winner in the shootout as the Capitals get the 3-2 win over the Penguins.

- Buffalo Sabres v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET
- In Winnipeg, the Jets welcome the Sabres. After a scorless first, Buffalo gets a pair of goals when Owen Power scores his third and Tage Thompson scores his 34th to give the Sabres the 2-0 lead. In the third, Buffalo takes the 3-0 lead when Victor Olofsson scores his 23rd of the year but then Nate Schmidt scores his fifth to get the Jets on the board. Then, Winnipeg’s Pierre-Luc Dubois scores his 22nd of the year but that is not enough to mount a comeback as the Sabres escape with a 3-2 win over the Jets.

- New Jersey Devils v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
- In Nashville, the Devils make their lone season trip to Music City to take on the Predators. In the first, the Devils take the 1-0 lead when Jesper Bratt nets his 19th but then Nashville gets on the board when Cody Glass scores his seventh. Then, the Devs re-take the lead with Yegor Sharangovich’s 11th of the year but then the Preds tie it up again when Cole Smith scores his second of the year. In the second, Jack Hughes gives the Devs the lead once more with his 31st of the year but then Nashville ties it up for the third time when Mikael Granlund scores his sixth of the year. In the third, Nashville gets a pair of goals from Matt Duchene, netting his 14th of the year, and then Filip Forsberg scores his 19th of the year to give Nashville the 5-3 lead. Dawson Mercer’s 11th of the year brings New Jersey within a goal but then Tanner Jeannot’s fifth of the year closes the door on the night as the Predators get the 6-4 win over the Devils.

- Philadelphia Flyers v. Minnesota Wild – 8p ET
- In the State of Hockey, the Flyers make their lone trip to take on the Wild. In the first, Noah Cates nets hsi seventh to gives the Flyers the 1-0 lead. In the second, Matt Boldy’s 15th of the year ties the game for Minnesota. In the third, Matt Boldy scores his second of the night but then Tony DeAngelo scores his eighth to tie the game for the Flyers. In overtime, Mats Zuccarello’s 19th of the year lifts the Wild to the 3-2 win over the Flyers.


- Anaheim Ducks v. Colorado Avalanche – 9p ET
- In the Mile High City, the Avalanche welcome the Ducks. In the first, Mikko Rantanen’s 33rd of the year gives Colorado the 1-0 lead but then Frank Vatrano’s ninth of the year ties the game for the Ducks. In the second, Samuel Girard’s fourth of the year gives the Avs the 2-1 lead and then Mikko Rantanen’s second of the night gives Colorado the two goal lead. Frank Vatrano’s second of the night brings Anaheim within a goal. In the third, Anaheim gets a trio of goals when Adam Henrique nets his 18th of the year to tie the game, Mason McTavish scores his 10th to put the Ducks up 4-3 and then Frank Vatrano completes the hat trick as the Ducks get the 5-3 upset win over the Avalanche.

- Chicago Blackhawks v. Calgary Flames – 9p ET
- In the Saddledome, the Flames host the Blackhawks. In the first, Chicago jumps out to the 1-0 lead when Taylor Raddysh nets his 13th of the year but then Jonathan Huberdeau scores his 10th of the yeatr to tie the game for the Flames. In the second, Boris Katchouk scores his second of the year to give Chicago the 2-1 lead and then Jason Dickinson’s sixth of the year gives the ‘Hawks the two goal lead. Sam Lafferty then scores his eighth of the year to give Chicago the three goal lead. In the third, Connor Murphy’s fifth of the year closes the door on the night as the Blackhawks crush the Flames 5-1.

- St. Louis Blues v. Arizona Coyotes – 9p ET
- In Tempe, the Coyotes welcome the Blues. After a scoreless first, Nick Schmaltz scores a pair of goals to give Arizona the 2-0 lead. In the third, Nick Schmaltz is awarded a goal, thus completing the hat trick, putting the ‘Yotes up 3-0. Then, Travis Boyd scores his sixth of the year putting Arizona up 4-0 and then Barrett Hayton’s seventh of the year closes the door on the contest as the Coyotes shut out the Blues 5-0.
