- Ottawa Senators v. New York Rangers – 7p ET
- At Madison Square Garden the New York Rangers would host the Ottawa Senators, and in the first period Vitali Kravtsov would net his first of the season to give the Rangers the 1-0 lead. In the second period Tim Stutzle would strike on the powerplay to tie the game at one for the Sens. Then in the third period Mika Zibanejad would net his 12th of the season to give the Rangers the 2-1 lead, but Brady Tkachuk would net his 10th of the season to tie the game at two and force overtime for the Sens. In the extra frame Tkachuk would net his second of the game in the final seconds of the overtime period to give the Senators the 3-2 victory over the Rangers.
- Nashville Predators v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
- Meanwhile, on Long Island the New York Islanders would play host to the Nashville Predators, and in the first period Filip Forsberg would score to give the Preds the 1-0 lead. In the second period Roman Josi would strike to grow the Preds lead to two. Then in the third period Mathew Barzal would score on the powerplay to get the Isles on the board and back within one, but goals from Matt Duchene and Mikael Granlund would give the Predators the 4-1 victory over the Islanders.
- Columbus Blue Jackets v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET
- In Winnipeg the Jets would battle the Columbus Blue Jackets, and in the first period Patrik Laine and Erik Gudbranson would score to give the Jackets the 2-0 lead. In the second period Laine would net his second of the game and Gustav Nyquist would score to grow the Jackets lead to four. Then in the third period Pierre-Luc Dubois would score on the powerplay for the Jets, but the Blue Jackets would hold on to defeat the Jets 4-1.
