- Tampa Bay’s Pat Maroon has been fined $2,702.70 and Washington’s Garnet Hathaway has been fined $4,054.05, both the maximum allowable under the CBA, for unsportsmanlike conduct during last night’s game.
- The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Washington’s Nicolas Aube-Kubel has been suspended for three games for an Illegal Check to the Head on Tampa Bay’s Cal Foote.

- Ottawa Senators v. Philadelphia Flyers – 1p ET
- In Philadelphia, the Flyers play host to the Senators. In the first, Philadelphis takes the 1-0 lead when Kevin Hayes scores his third of the year but then Thomas Chabot’s third ties the game for the Senators. In the second, Alex DeBrincat’s third of the year, a power play goal, gives Ottawa the 2-1 lead. In the third, DeBrincat scores his second of the game, also on the power play, and then Tim Stützle scores his fifth, an empty netter, to give the Senators the 4-1 win over the Flyers.

- Edmonton Oilers v. Florida Panthers – 4p ET
- In the Sunshine State, Florida looks to strike Oil and get the win over Edmonton. After a scoreless first, Edmonton takes the 1-0 lead when Tyson Barrie scores his second of the year. In the third, Sam Bennett’s fourth of the year gets the Panthers on the board to tie the contest but then the Oilers get a pair of goals when Tyson Barrie scores his second of the contest and then Warren Foegele scores his second of the year to give the Oilers the 3-1 lead. Sam Bennett then nets his second of the contest to bring the Panthers within a goal but then an empty netter by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, scoring his eighth of the year, gives the Oilers the 4-2 win over the Panthers.

- Arizona Coyotes v. New Jersey Devils – 7p ET
- In Newark, the Devils play host for the Coyotes and look to extend their win streak. In the first, Tomas Tatar’s third of the year gives New Jersey the 1-0 lead but then Dylan Guenther’s third of the year ties it up for Arizona. New Jersey then re-takes the lead when Jack Hughes scores his fifth of the year. In the second, Clayton Keller’s power play goal, his fifth of the year, ties the game 2-2 but then New Jersey gets a pair of goals from Jesper Boqvist, scoring his first of the year, and Dougie Hamilton, scoring his fourth. After a scoreless third, the Devils extend their win streak and get the 4-2 win over the Coyotes.

- Boston Bruins v. Buffalo Sabres** – 7p ET
- In Buffalo, the Sabres and Bruins face-off in a divisional match-up. In the first, Buffalo takes the 1-0 lead when Tage Thompson nets his 11th of the season. In the second, Boston ties the contest up when Patrice Bergeron nets his sixth of the year on a power play advantage. In the third, Boston gets a pair of goals when Jakub Zbroil nets his first career NHL goal and then Patrice Bergeron scores his second of the night to give the Bruins the 3-1 win over the Sabres.

- In Toronto, the Maple Leafs host the Canucks in a Canadian rival match-up. In the first period, the Canucks get a pair of goals when Bo Horvat scores his 13th of the year and then J.T. Miller scores a power play goal, his eighth of the season, to take the 2-0 lead. In the second, Toronto gets a trio of goals when Auston Matthews scores his seventh, a power play goal, Pierre Engvall scores his second, and Jordie Benn scores his first of the year, to take the 3-2 lead. In overtime, Zach Parise scores the game winner, his fifth, to lift the Islanders to the 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

- New York Rangers v. Nashville Predators** – 8p ET
- In Music City, the Predators host the Rangers for the lone time in the 2022-23 season. In the first, Juuso Parssinen scores his first career NHL goal to give Nashville the 1-0 lead. In the second, Mark Jankowski’s second of the year gives the Predators the 2-0 lead but then Filip Chytil’s fourth of the year brings New York within a goal. After a scoreless third, the Predators go on and down the Rangers with the 2-1 win.

- Carolina Hurricanes v. Colorado Avalanche – 9p ET
- In the Mile High City, the Hurricanes look to cause the Avalanche to fall downhill. In the first, Colorado gets a pair goals when Cale Makar scores twice to take the 2-0 lead. In the second, Carolina gets on the board when Jordan Staal scores his third. In the third, Nathan MacKinnon’s fourth of the year gives the Avs the 3-1 lead and then Mikko Rantanen’s empty netter, his 10th of the year, gives the Avalanche the 4-1 win over the Hurricanes.
