  • Anaheim Ducks v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET
    • In Boston, the Ducks make their lone visit to Beantown and look to escape with the win. After a scoreless first, Boston opens up the scoring when Taylor Hall scores his second goal of the year but then Anaheim ties it up when Frank Vatrano nets his third of the year. After a scoreless third period and overtime session, the game moves the shooutout. In the shootout, Taylor Hall scores the lone goal as the Bruins down the Ducks 2-1.

  • Arizona Coyotes v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
    • In Montreal, the Coyotes make the lone trip of the season to take on the Canadiens. In the first period, Montreal gets three goals when Josh Anderson, scoring his second of the year, Cole Caufield, netting his fourth on the season, and Brendan Gallagher, striking with his first goal of the year, to make it a 3-0 Habs lead. In the second period, Juraj Slafkovsky scores his first career NHL goal to make it a 4-0 Montreal lead and then they make it a 5-0 lead when Nick Suzuki scores a penalty shot. As this contest moves to the third, the Coyotes get a pair of goals from J.J. Moser and Travis Boyd, each scoring their first goals on the year to come within three but Sean Monahan scores the empty netter, his second goal of the season, as the Canadiens breeze by the Coyotes for the 6-2 win.

  • Dallas Stars v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET
    • In Toronto, the Stars look to stay undefeated. In the first period, Dallas takes the 1-0 lead when Luke Glendening nets his first of the year. In the second, Toronto ties it up when Alexander Kerfoot scores his first of the year on the power play. In the third, Toronto takes the 2-1 lead when Nicholas Robertson scores his first of the season but then Dallas ties the contest up when Tyler Seguin scores on the power play, his second goal of the season. In overtime, Nicholas Robertson scores his second of the night to give the Maple Leafs the 3-2 win over the Stars.

  • Los Angeles Kings v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET
    • In the Steel City, the Kings and Penguins get re-acquainted as Pittsburgh looks to stay out of the loss column. In the first period, the Penguins get a trio of goals when Jan Rutta, Jake Guentzel, and Rickard Rakell, scoring their first, third, and second goal of the season, respectively. In the second, the Pens make it a 4-0 lead when Jeff Petry scores a power play goal, his first of the season. In the third, Pittsburgh makes it a 5-0 lead when Jeff Carter scores his second of the year and the Ryan Poehling makes it a 6-0 lead with a shorthanded goal, his first goal of the season. Los Angeles will finally get on the board when Carl Gundstrom gets his first of the year, a power play goal, but the Penguins crush the Kings 6-1.

  • Nashville Predators v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
    • In Columbus, the Predators and Blue Jackets face off and each team looks to get their third win on the season. In the first, Tanner Jeannot and Ryan Johansen each score their second goals of the season to give the Predators the 2-0 lead. In the second, the Blue Jackets get on the board when Jake Bean nets his first goal of the season but the Preds re-take the two goal lead when Yakov Trenin scores his first of the season. In the third, Columbus comes within a goal once more when Johnny Gaudreau nets his third of the year and then Blue Jackets tie the game up when Justin Danforth nets his second of the season. Columbus then takes the 4-3 lead when Nick Blankenburg scores his first of the year. The Blue Jackets then seal the win after Johnny Gaudreau scores an empty net goal, his second of the night, as the Blue Jackets down the Predators 5-3.

  • San Jose Sharks v. New York Rangers – 7p ET
    • In Manhattan, the Sharks make the lone trip to the Big Apple and look to knock off the Rangers. In the first, Logan Couture scores his second of the year, a power play goal, to give the Sharks the 1-0 lead. In the second, the Rangers get on the board when Filip Chytil scores his second of the year and then the Blueshirts take the lead after Artemi Panarin’s third goal of the year. San Jose then ties the game when Radim Simek scores his first goal of the year. After a scoreless third, Erik Karlsson scores his second of the season to give the Sharks the 3-2 win over the Rangers.

  • Washington Capitals v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
    • In the Battle of the Nation’s Capitals, Washington and Ottawa do battle. In the first period, Washington gets a pair of power play goals when T.J. Oshie scores his second of the year and Anthony Mantha nets his third of the year to take the the 2-0 lead. In the second, Ottawa gets a pair of goals when Drake Batherson nets a pair of power play goals to tie the game 2-2. In the third, Shane Pinto gives the Sens the lead for good with his third goal and then Tyler Motte scores his first of the year with the empty netter to make it a 4-2 Ottawa lead. Then, Alex DeBrincat puts the nail in the contest with an empty net goal of his own, his first goal with Ottawa, as the Senators steamroll the Caps with five unanswered goals en route to the 5-2 win.

  • New Jersey Devils v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
    • In Long Island the Devils and the Islanders renew their rivalry. After a scoreless first period, the Devils get a pair of goals when Jack Hughes scores his first of the season and Ondrej Palat nets his second to make it a 2-0 lead. In the third, Ondrej Palat nets his second of the night to make it a 3-0 New Jersey lead but then Andres Lee gets the Islanders on the board with his second of the season. Nico Hischier ends the contest with an empty net goal, his second goal of the season, as the Devils sink the Islanders 4-1.

  • Vancouver Canucks v. Minnesota Wild – 8p ET
    • In the Land of 10,000 Lakes, the Canucks look to get the first win of the season over the Wild. In the first period, Minnesota takes the 1-0 lead with Mats Zuccarello’s third goal of the season but then Bo Horvat scores his fourth of the year to tie the game. Nils Aman scores his first career NHL goal to give the ‘Nucks the 2-1 lead but then Sam Steel scores his second of the season to tie the game for the Wild In the second, the Canucks re-take the lead with Dakota Joshua’s first goal of the season. In the third, Mats Zuccarello scores his second of the night to tie the game for the Wild once again. In the overtime session, Kirill Kaprizov scores his fourth of the season to lift the Wild over the Canucks 4-3.

  • Buffalo Sabres v. Calgary Flames – 9p ET
    • In the Saddledome, the Flames look to stay perfect on the season against the Sabres. In the first, Andrew Mangiapane scores his second goal of the season to give the Flames the 1-0 lead but then Dylan Cozens scores his first of the season to tie the contest 1-1. Rasmus Dahlin goes on to score his fourth of the year to give the Sabres the 2-1 lead and then it becomes a 3-1 Buffalo lead when Casey Mittlestadt scores a short handed goal, his first on the season. In the second, Alex Tuch scores his third of the season to make it a 4-1 Buffalo lead but the Flames cut the deficit to two when Trevor Lewis scores his first of the season. In the third, Calgary comes within a goal when Nikita Zadorov scores his first of the season but then Alex Tuch strikes gets a pair of goals, thus completing the hat trick. With the Tuch two goals, the Sabres go on to double up the Flames with the 6-3 win.

  • Carolina Hurricanes v. Edmonton Oilers – 9p ET
    • In Edmonton, the Hurricanes look to bring the storm surge to Oil Country. In the first, Edmonton takes the 1-0 lead when Zach Hyman nets his first goal of the year, a power play goal. In the second, Andrei Svechnikov scores his fourth of the year to tie the game for the Canes but then Edmonton re-takes the lead when Ryan McLeod scores his second of the season. Evander Kane then goes on to score his first of the season to give the Oilers the 3-1 lead but then Andrei Svechnikov scores his second of the night to pull Carolina within a goal. In the third, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scores his second of the season to make it a 4-2 Oilers lead but then Andrei Svechnikov completes the hat trick, scoring on a power play goal to bring Carolina within a goal once more. Leon Draisaitl scores his second goal, also on the power play, to make it a 5-3 Oilers lead but then Martin Necas nets his third of the season, on the power play as well, to make it a 5-4 Edmonton lead. Connor McDavid then closes out the game, scoring an empty net goal, his fifth goal on the year, to give the Oilers the 6-4 win over the Hurricanes.

  • Winnipeg Jets v. Vegas Golden Knights – 10p ET
    • In Sin City, the Golden Knights and Jets face off in a Western Conference match-up. In the first, the Golden Knights get a quartet of goals with Jack Eichel notching a pair of goals, William Karlsson scoring his second, and Chandler Stephenson netting his first of the season, to give Vegas the 4-0 lead. In the second period, Pierre-Luc Dubois nets his first of the season to make it a 4-1 Vegas lead. In the third, Neal Pionk scores his third of the season to bring the Jets within two but Jonathan Marchessault scores the empty net goal, his fourth of the season, to give the Golden Knights the 5-2 win over the Jets.
