- Tampa Bay Lightning v. Colorado Avalanche – 8p ET – Game 2
- After two days off the Colorado Avalanche would look to build off of their momentum at home as they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. In the first period it would be an early powerplay that would get the Avs on the board as Valeri Nichushkin would score less than three minutes into the game to give the Avs the 1-0 lead. Then later in the period Josh Manson and Andre Burakovsky would score to grow the Avs lead to three. In the second period Nichushkin would net his second of the game while Darren Helm would score to give the Avalanche the commanding five goal lead over the Bolts. Then in the third period Cale Makar would make his presence known as he would score a shorthanded goal two minutes into the period, and then a powerplay goal at the midway point of the period to give the Avalanche the dominating 7-0 victory over the Lightning to take the 2-0 series lead as the Stanley Cup Final now shifts over to Tampa Bay for Game 3 on Monday night.
