- Tampa Bay Lightning v. New York Rangers – 8p ET – Game 1
- At Madison Square Garden the New York Rangers would play host to the Tampa Bay Lightning for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final, and in the first period Chris Kreider would open the scoring for the Rangers, but a tally from Steven Stamkos would tie the game at one for the Bolts. In the second period Ondrej Palat would score for the Bolts, but a pair of goals from Filip Chytil and a tally from Frank Vatrano would give the Rangers the 4-2 lead. Then in the third period Artemi Panarin and Mika Zibanejad would score to give the Rangers the 6-2 victory over the Lightning to take Game 1.
