- Edmonton Oilers v. Colorado Avalanche – 8p ET – Game 1
- In Colorado the Avalanche would take on the Edmonton Oilers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final, and in the first period Evander Kane and Zach Hyman would strike for the Oilers, but goals from JT Compher, Nathan MacKinnon, and Cale Makar would give the Avs the 3-2 lead. In the second period Nazem Kadri, Mikko Rantanen, Compher, and Andrew Cogliano would strike for the Avs, but goals from Ryan McLeod and Connor McDavid would keep the Oilers alive despite the 7-4 lead for the Avs. Then in the third period Derek Ryan and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would score for the Oilers to get back within one, but Gabriel Landeskog would get the empty netter to give the Avalanche the 8-6 victory over the Oilers to take Game 1.
