Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of March 21st through 27th.
First Star – Cam Talbot (G – MIN)
- Talbot would go a perfect 3-0-0 with a 1.33 goals against average, .959 save percentage, and one shutout for the Minnesota Wild. To start the week Talbot would make 28 saves in a 3-0 victory over Vegas on March 21st, and then on March 24th he would make 26 saves in a 3-2 overtime victory over Vancouver. Then to close out the week Talbot would make 40 saves in a 3-2 overtime victory over Colorado on March 27th.

Second Star – Johnny Gaudreau (LW – CAL)
- Gaudreau would record two goals with eight assists for ten points in three games played for the Calgary Flames. Gaudreau would open the week with a goal and an assist in a 4-3 loss to San Jose on March 22nd. He would then record a goal and two assists in a 4-2 victory over Arizona on March 25th, and Gaudreau would close out the week with five assists in a 9-5 victory over Edmonton on March 26th.

Third Star – Leon Draisaitl (C – EDM)
- Draisaitl would score six goals and two assists for eight points in four games played for the Edmonton Oilers, and he would open the week up an assist in a 3-2 overtime loss to Colorado on March 21st. He would then record a goal in a 5-3 loss to Dallas on March 22nd, and on March 24th Draisaitl would score two goals in a 5-2 victory over San Jose. Then to close out the week Draisaitl would score three goals and an assist in a 9-5 loss to Calgary on March 26th.
