- The NHL Department of Player Safety has suspended Carolina Hurricanes forward Nino Niederreiter.
- Niederreiter was suspended one game for slashing Washington Capitals forward Axel Jonsson-Fjallby on Friday night in Carolina.
- Niederreiter will forfeit $26,250 based on his annual average salary and per the terms of the CBA.
- The Philadelphia Flyers and Florida Panthers would make a trade.
- The Panthers would acquire forwards Claude Giroux, Connor Bunnaman, and German Rubstov.
- The Panthers would also acquire a 2024 5th Round Pick
- The Flyers acquired forward Owen Tippett, and ’23 3rd Round Pick, and a ’24 1st Round Pick.
- The Panthers would acquire forwards Claude Giroux, Connor Bunnaman, and German Rubstov.

- Chicago Blackhawks v. Minnesota Wild – 2p ET
- In Minnesota, the Wild host the Blackhawks and in the first period Fredrick Gaudreau scores his ninth of the year to give the Wild the 1-0 lead. In the third, Seth Jones nets his fourth of the year to tie the game 1-1. Then, Minnesota gets a pair of goals from Ryan Hartman, scoring his 25th, and Jordan Greenway, netting his seventh, as the Wild defeat the Blackhawks 3-1.

- Dallas Stars v. New York Islanders – 2p ET
- In Long Island, the Isles host the Stars. After a scoreless first, New York gets on the board when Ryan Pulock nets his second of the year and then Dallas ties the game when Denis Gurianov scores his 10th of the year. In the third, Brock Nelson gets a pair of goals to give the Isles the 3-1 lead and then Dallas comes within a goal when Jacob Peterson scores his 10th of the year. Brock Nelson then completes the hat trick to give the Islanders the 4-2 win over the Stars.

- New Jersey Devils v. Edmonton Oilers – 3p ET
- In Edmonton, the Oilers host the Devils for the lone time on the season and in the first, Leon Draisaitl scores his 41st of the year to give the Oilers the 1-0 lead but then the Devils tie the game after Jesper Bratt scores his 20th of the year. In the second, Evander Kane fids the net for his 11th of the year. In the third, Jesper Bratt nets his second of the game to tie it for the Devils and then Nico Hischier nets his 17th of the year to give New Jersey the 3-2 lead. Then, Edmonton ties the game when Tyson Barrie scores his fifth of the year followed by the Oilers re-taking the lead with Evander Kane’s second of the contest. Edmonton goes on to get another pair of goals from Zach Hyman, scoring his 21st, and Connor McDavid netting his 35th, as the Oilers come from behind and then double up the Devils 6-3.

- Los Angeles Kings v. Vegas Golden Knights – 4p ET
- In Sin City, the Golden Knights and Kings renew a rivalry. In the first, Evgenii Dadonov nets his 15th to give Vegas the 1-0 lead. In the second, Chandler Stephenson nets his 15th of the year to give the Golden Knights the 2-0 lead and then Los Angeles comes within a goal when Phillip Danault scores his 19th of the year. Then, Vegas re-takes the two goal advantage when Mattias Janmark scores his eighth of the year. In the third, Vegas gets a pair of goals from Alex Pietrangelo, netting his 10th, and Michael Amadio, netting his seventh, to drub Los Angeles with the 5-1 win.

- Pittsburgh Penguins v. Arizona Coyotes – 5p ET
- In Glendale, the Coyotes host the Penguins and after a scoreless first period, Pittsburgh gets on the board when Kasperi Kapanen nets his 10th of the year. Then, Arizona ties the game up when Clayton Keller score his 27th of the year. In the third, Evgeni Malkin scores his 11th of the year to give the Pens the 2-1 lead and then Sidney Crosby gets a pair of goals as the Penguins defeat the Coyotes 4-1.

- St. Louis Blues v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 5p ET
- In Columbus, the Blues face-off against the Blue Jackets. In the first period, Columbus takes the 1-0 lead when Emil Benstrom nets his third of the year and then St. Louis ties it up when David Perron scores his 19th of the year. The Blue Jackets then re-take the lead when Gustav Nyqvist scores his 15th of the year. In the second, Columbus takes the two goal lead when Patrik Laine scores his 25th of the year but then St. Louis comes within a goal when Alexei Toropchenko nets his first career NHL goal. In the third, Sean Kuraly nets his 11th of the year to make it a 4-2 Columbus lead but then St. Louis comes within a goal once more when David Perron scores his second of the game. Jakub Voracek nets his fourth of the year to give the Blue Jackets the 5-3 lead. David Perron completes his hat trick but it is not enough as the Blue Jackets squeak by the Blues with the 5-4 win.

- Toronto Maple Leafs v. Nashville Predators – 7p ET
- In Nashville, the Predators host the Maple Leafs. In the first period, Nashville takes the 1-0 lead when Tanner Jeannot scores his 21st of the year. In the second the Preds take the 2-0 lead after Eeli Tolvanen scores his ninth of the year but then Toronto cuts the lead in half when Mitchell Marner nets his 25th of the year. Then, Mattias Ekholm scores his fifth of the year to give the Preds the two goal lead once again. In the third, Auston Matthews scores his 46th of the year to make it a 3-2 Nashville lead but then Filip Forsberg scores his 33rd of the year to make it a 4-2 Nashville lead. Then the Preds take the three goal lead with Matt Duchene’s 32nd of the year but then Mitchell Marner nets his second of the game to make it a 5-3 Predators lead. Yakov Trenin scores his 15th of the year as Nashville doubles up Toronto 6-3.

- Ottawa Senators v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
- In Montreal, the Canadiens host their Canadian rivals in the Senators. In the first period, Jake Evans nets his eighth to give Montreal the 1-0 lead but then the Sens go on to tie the game with Josh Norris’ 26th of the year. In the second, Montreal gets a pair of goals when Paul Byron scores his second of the year and then Cole Caufield nets his 13th of the year. Then, Montreal takes the 4-1 lead when Joel Armia scores his third of the year on the power play. In the third, Brett Kulak scores his third of the year as Montreal breezes by Ottawa with the 5-1 win.

- New York Rangers v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 8p ET
- In Tampa Bay, the Lightning host the Rangers and in the first period Brayden Point scores his 23rd of the year to give the Lightning the 1-0 lead. In the second, the Rangers tie the game with Jacob Trouba’s 10th of the year. In the third, Mike Zibanejad nets his 25th of the year as the Rangers defeat the Lightning 2-1.

- Calgary Flames v. Vancouver Canucks – 10p ET
- In Vancouver, the Canucks host their rivals in the Flames and in the first, the Flames get a trio of goals when Noah Hanifin, netting his sixth, Matthew Tkachuk, scoring his 29th, and Rasmus Andersson, striking with his third. In the second, Elias Lindholm gives the Flames the 4-0 lead with his 31st goal of the year. In the third, Johnny Gaudreau scores his 28th of the year, giving Calgary the 5-0 lead. Vancouver then gets a pair of goals from Matthew Highmore, netting his fourth, and Brock Boeser, scoring his 18th, but Calgary downs Vancouver with the 5-2 win.

- Detroit Red Wings v. Seattle Kraken – 10p ET
- In the Emerald City, the Red Wings make their first visit to Seattle. After a scoreless first, Deroit gets a pair of goals when Joe Veleno nets his sixth and Taro Hirose nets his first of the year to give the Red Wings the 2-0 lead. In the third, Seattle gets on the board after Adam Larsson nets his fifth of the year and then Jaden Schwartz scores his eighth of the year to tie the game up. Then, Yanni Gourde scores a pair of goals as the Kraken double up the Red Wings with the 4-2 win.
