Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of February 21st through 27th.
First Star – Auston Matthews (C – TOR)
- Matthews would score four goals and five assists for nine points in four games played for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Matthews would open up the week by being held scoreless by Montreal in a 5-2 loss on Feb. 21st, but he would rebound with a goal and two assists in a 4-3 overtime loss to Columbus on Feb. 22nd. Matthews would then score two goals in a 3-1 victory over Minnesota on Feb. 24th, and to close out the week he would record a goal and three assists in a 10-7 victory over Detroit on Feb. 26th.

Second Star – JT Miller (C – VAN)
- In three games played for the Vancouver Canucks Miller would record 2 goals and six assists for 8 points. Yo open up his week Miller would record a pair of assists on Feb. 21st in a 5-2 victory over Seattle. Then on Feb. 24th Miller would record two goals and two assists in a 7-1 victory over Calgary, and to close out the week he would have two assists in a 5-2 victory over the New York Rangers on Feb. 27th.

Third Star – Steven Stakos (C – TB)
- Stamkos would record two goals and two assists for four point sin two games played for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Stamkos would score a goal in a 5-3 victory over Edmonton on Feb. 23rd. Then at the 202 Stadium Series Stamkos would record a goal and two assists in Tampa’s 3-1 victory over Nashville on Feb. 26th.
