Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of January 10th through 16th.
First Star – Brad Marchand (LW – BOS)
- Marchand would record six goal and four assists for ten points in four games played for the Boston Bruins. Marchand would also record multiple points in all four games played as well. He would open the week with two goals and an assist in a 7-3 victory over Washington on Jan. 10th, and on Jan. 12th Marchand would record a hat trick in a 5-1victory over Montreal. Then on Jan. 13th he would record two assists in a 3-2 victory over Philadelphia, and to close out the week Marchand would score a goal and an assist in a 4-3 victory over Nashville on Jan. 15th.

Second Star – Marc-Andre Fleury (G – CHI)
- Fleury would go a perfect 3-0-0 with a 1.32 goals against average, .957 save percentage, and one shutout for the Chicago Blackhawks. To open up the week Fleury would make 24 saves in a 4-2 victory over Columbus on Jan. 11th, and on Jan. 13th he would make 27 saves in a 3-2 victory over Montreal. Then to close out the week Fleury would make 37 saves to earn the 3-0 shutout victory over Anaheim on Jan. 15th.

Third Star – Nikita Kucherov (RW – TB)
- In three games played for the Tampa Bay Lightning Nikita Kucherov would record three goals and four assists for seven points. Kucherov would open up the week with a hat trick in a 6-1 victory over Buffalo on Jan. 11th. On Jan. 13th he would record two assists in a 4-2 victory over Vancouver, and again in a 3-1 victory over Dallas to close out the week on Jan. 15th.
