  • The Washington Capitals announced the following moves.
    • Recalled forward Aleksai Protas from Hershey (AHL).
    • Re-assigned forward Michael Sgarbossa and goalie Pheonix Copley to Hershey.
    • Re-assigned defensemen Lucas Johansen and Alex Alexeyev from the Taxi Squad to Hershey.

  • The NHL announced some schedule changes.

Game Recaps

  • New Jersey Devils v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET
    • In Boston the Bruins would host the New Jersey Devils, and in the first period Curtis Lazar would score to give the B’s the 1-0 lead. In the second period Nathan Bastian and Tomas Tatar would score for the Devils, but goals from Oskar Steen and Trent Frederic would keep the Bruins ahead by one. Then in the third period Damon Severson would score to tie the game at three for the Devils, but goals from David Pastrnak and Brandon Carlo would give the Bruins the 5-3 victory over the Devils.

  • Calgary Flames v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET
    • In Florida the Panthers would host the Calgary Flames, and in the first period the Flames would get goals from Johnny Gaudreau and Blake Coleman, but goals by Patric Hornqvist, Anthony Duclair, and Joe Thornton would give the Panthers the 3-2 lead. In the second period Ryan Lomberg would score to grow the Panthers lead to two. Then in the third period Hornqvist would net his second of the game and Lucas Carlsson would score to give the Panthers the 6-2 victory over the Flames.

  • Tampa Bay Lightning v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
    • In Columbus the Blue Jackets would take on the Tampa Bay Lightning, and in the first period Ondrej Palat would net a pair of goals and Corey Perry would score to give the Bolts the 3-0 lead. In the second period Dean Kukan and Gustav Nyquist would score for the Jackets, but goals from Brayden Point and Pat Maroon would give the Bolts the 5-2 lead. Then in the third period Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Alex Killorn would score to give the Lightning the 7-2 victory over the Blue Jackets.

  • San Jose Sharks v. Detroit Red Wings – 730p ET
    • In Detroit the San Jose Sharks would come to town to take on the Red Wings, and in the first period Tyler Bertuzzi would score to give the Wings the 1-0 lead. In the second period Jasper Weatherby would strike for the Sharks, but Bertuzzi would net his second of the game and Pius Suter would score a pair of goals to give the Wings the 4-1 lead. Then in the third period Alexander Barabanov would score for the Sharks, but goals from Dylan Larkin and Robby Fabbri would give the Red Wings the 6-2 victory over the Sharks.

  • Colorado Avalanche v. Chicago Blackhawks – 830p ET
    • In Chicago the Blackhawks would host the Colorado Avalanche, and in the first period Erik Johnson and Alex Newhook would score to give the Avs the 2-0 lead. In the second period Jonathan Toews would strike to get the Blackhawks on the board. In the third, Chicago gets a pair of goals when Alex DeBrincat gets a pair of goals as the Blackhawks take the 3-2 lead. Colorado then ties it up after Erik Johnson gets his second of the night. Cale Makar scores the game winner for the Avs as they down the Blackhawks win 4-3.

  • Winnipeg Jets v. Arizona Coyotes – 9p ET
    • The Arizona Coyotes would play host to the Winnipeg Jets, and in the first period Evgeny Svechnikov would score to give the Jets the 1-0 lead. In the second period Pierre-Luc Dubois would score to grow the Jets lead to two. Arizona gets on the board when Shayne Gostisbehere nets his sixth of the year but Nikolaj Ehlers nets his 13th as the Jets down the Coyotes 3-1.
  • Nashville Predators v. Vegas Golden Knights – 10p ET
    • In the Fortress, the Predators visit the Golden Knights. After a scoreless first, Nashville gets a pair of goals when Filip Forsberg nets his 16th and Yakov Trenin nets his seventh as the Preds take the 2-0 lead. In the third, Forsberg scores his second of the night to give the Preds the 3-0 lead and then Vegas gets on the board with William Karlsson’s fourth of the year. Vegas comes within a goal with Shea Theodore’s seventh of the year but Nashville escapes with the 3-2 win over Vegas.
  • Philadelphia Flyers v. Anaheim Ducks – 10p ET
    • In Anaheim, Philadelphia flocks into Anaheim for their lone visit on the season. In the first, Troy Terry gets a pair of goals as the Ducks take the 2-0 lead. Philadelphia gets on the board when Cam Atkinson nets his 13th to make it a 2-1 Anaheim lead. In the second, Sonny Milano nets his ninth to make it a 3-1 Ducks lead. Troy Terry completes the hat trick as Anaheim gets the 4-1 win over the Flyers.
  • Washington Capitals v. Montreal Canadiens – Postponed
    • Postponed due to Canada’s Attendance Restrictions
  • New York Islanders v. Seattle Kraken – Postponed
    • Postponed
  • EDM v. TOR – 7p ET
  • STL v. PIT – 730p ET
  • NYI v. VAN – Postponed
