Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of December 13th through 19th.
First Star – Dylan Larkin (C – DET)
- Dylan Larkin would record five goals and two assists for seven points in three games played for the Detroit Red Wings. Larkin would open the week by tallying a goal in a 2-1 victory over the New York Islanders on Dec. 14th, and then on Dec. 16th against Carolina he would record a goal and an assist in a 5-3 loss. Then to close out the week Larkin would record his first career hat trick and an assist in a 5-2 victory over New Jersey on Dec. 18th.

Second Star – Vladimir Tarasenko (RW – STL)
- Tarasenko would record four goals and two assists for six points in three games played for the St. Louis Blues. Tarasenko would start the week a goal and two assists in a 4-1 victory over Dallas on Dec. 14th, and then on Dec. 17th he would score two goals in another 4-1 victory over Dallas. To close out the week Tarasenko would score a goal in a 4-2 loss to Winnipeg on Dec. 19th.

Third Star – Nikolaj Ehlers (LW – WIN)
- In three games played for the Winnipeg Jets, Nikolaj Ehlers would record two goals and five assists for seven points. Ehlers would open the week with a goal in a 4-2 loss to Buffalo on Dec. 14th, and then on Dec. 17th he would record two assists in a 5-2 loss to Washington. To close out the week Tarasenko would record a goal and three assists in a 4-2 victory over the Blues on Dec. 19th.
