- The Charlotte Checkers of the AHL have announced that they have signed goaltender Devan Dubnyk to a PTO.
- The NHL Department of Player Safety has suspended Toronto Maple Leafs forward Jason Spezza.
- Spezza was suspended for six games for kneeing Winnipeg Jets defenseman Neal Pionk on Sunday night.
- Per the CBA and based on his average annual salary, Spezza will forfeit $22,500.00.
- The Philadelphia Flyers would claim defenseman Kevin Connauton off waivers from the Florida Panthers.

- Columbus Blue Jackets v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET
- In Toronto the Maple Leafs would take on the Columbus Blue Jackets, and in the first period the Leafs would get goals from William Nylander, Auston Matthews, and Nick Ritchie for the 3-0 lead. In the second period Oliver Bjorkstrand would score for the Jackets, but goals from John Tavares and Matthews would give the Leafs the four goal lead. Then in the third period Bjorkstrand would net his second of the game and Sean Kuraly and Max Domi would score, but the Blue Jackets would fall to the Maple Leafs 5-4.

- Tampa Bay Lightning v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET
- In Montreal the Canadiens would play host to the Tampa Bay Lightning, and in the first period Pat Maroon would score for the Lightning to take the 1-0 lead. In the second period Nick Suzuki and Mike Hoffman would score to give the Habs the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Corey Perry and Ondrej Palat would score to give the Lightning the 3-2 victory over the Canadiens.

- New York Islanders v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
- In Ottawa the Senators would host the New York Islanders, and after a scoreless first period Josh Norris would score for the Sens, but a goal from Oliver Wahlstrom and a pair of goals from Anders Lee would give the Isles the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period Nick Holden and Alex Formenton would score for the Sens, but goals from Kieffer Bellows and Jean Gabriel Pageau would give the Islanders the 5-3 victory over the Senators.

- Nashville Predators v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p ET
- In Detroit the Red Wings would go to battle against the Nashville Predators, and in the first period Ryan Johansen and Roman Josi would both score to give the Preds the 2-0 lead. In the second period Robby Fabbri would score for the Wings to cut their deficit to one. Then in the third period Michael Rasmussen would score for the Wings, but goals from Nick Cousins, Eeli Tolvanen, and Dante Fabbro would give the Predators the 5-2 victory over the Red Wings.

- Anaheim Ducks v. Buffalo Sabres – 730p ET
- In Buffalo the Sabres would take on the Anaheim Ducks, and after a scoreless first period Sonny Milano would score to give the Ducks the 1-0 lead. Then in the third period Sam Carrick would score to give the Ducks the 2-0 victory over the Sabres.

- Florida Panthers v. St. Louis Blues – 8p ET
- In St. Louis the Blues would host the Florida Panthers for their second game in four games against each other, and in the first period Aleksander Barkov would score to give the Panthers the 1-0 lead. In the second period Brandon Montour would score for the Panthers, but goals from Vladimir Tarasenko and Brayden Schenn would tie the game at two for the Blues. Then in the third period Brandon Saad would score to give the Blues the 3-2, but Jonathan Huberdeau would score to tie the game at three and send the game to overtime. In the extra frame Pavel Buchnevich would score to give the Blues the 4-3 victory over the Panthers.

- Carolina Hurricanes v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET
- In Winnipeg the Jets would take on the Carolina Hurricanes, and in the first period Jaccob Slavin would score for the Canes to take the 1-0 lead. In the second period Nikolaj Ehlers and Pierre-Luc Dubois would score for the Jets, but goals from Sebastian Aho and Martin Necas would give the Canes the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Vincent Trocheck would score to give the Hurricanes the 4-2 victory over the Jets.

- New York Rangers v. Chicago Blackhawks – 830p ET
- In Chicago the Blackhawks would take on the New York Rangers, and in the first period Jacob Touba would score for the Rangers to take the 1-0 lead, but goals from Erik Gustafsson and Kirby Dach would score to give the Blackhawks the 2-1 lead. In the second period Artemi Panarin would score to tie the game at two. Then in the third period Chris Kreider, Kevin Rooney, Panarin, and Barclay Goodrow would score to give the Rangers the 6-2 victory over the Blackhawks.

- Minnesota Wild v. Edmonton Oilers – 9p ET
- In Edmonton the Oilers would take on the Minnesota Wild, and in the first period Joel Eriksson Ek and Marcus Foligno would score for the Wild to take the 2-0 lead. In the second period Jesse Puljujarvi would strike to get the Oilers on the board and cut their deficit to one. Then in the third period Victor Rask and Dmitry Kulikov would score to give the Wild the 4-1 victory over the Oilers.

- Calgary Flames v. San Jose Sharks – 1030p ET
- In San Jose, the Sharks look to down the Flames. In the first period, Calgary gets on the board when Dillon Dube scores his third to give the Flames the 1-0 lead. San Jose ties the game when Tomas Hertl strikes for his 10th goal but the Flames re-take the lead once Johnny Gaudreau scores his 10th of the year. In the second, Calgary makes it a 3-1 lead when Adam Ruzicka scores his first career NHL goal. The Sharks then come within a goal when Erik Karlsson nets his seventh of the year and San Jose ties it up when Logan Couture nets his eighth. Following the goal by Couture, the Sharks take the lead when Hertl gets his second of the contest. As the contest moves to the third, Hertl completes the hat trick to give the Sharks the 5-3 lead and win over the Flames.
