- The Washington Capitals have assigned forward Hendrix Lapierre to Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the QMJHL.
- Lapierre played six games this season, and recorded one goal.
- Lapierre’s entry level contract will will slide to next season.
- The Washington Capitals also recalled forward Aliaksei Protas and goaltender Zach Fucale.
- Forward Nic Dowd was placed on injured reserve.
- The Anaheim Ducks announced that Bob Murray has resigned as Executive Vice President and General Manager.
- Murray will also be entering an alcohol abuse program.

- Toronto Maple Leafs v. Philadelphia Flyers – 730p ET
- In Philadelphia the Flyers would play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and after a scoreless first period William Nylander would score to give the Leafs the 1-0 lead. Then in the third period Nylander would net his second of the game and Ondrej Kase would score to give the Leafs the 3-0 victory over the Flyers.

- Nashville Predators v. Dallas Stars – 830p ET
- In Dallas the Stars would host the Nashville Predators, and with 52 seconds left in the first period Ryan Johansen would score to give the Preds the 1-0 lead. In the second period Tanner Jeannot and Matt Duchene would score to grow the Preds lead to three, but Roope Hintz would score to get the Stars on the board. Then in the third period Miro Heiskanen would score to bring the Stars back within one, but Colton Sissons would score to give the Predators the 4-2 victory.

- Minnesota Wild v. Arizona Coyotes – 10p ET
- In Arizona the Coyotes would host the Minnesota Wild, and in the first period Joel Eriksson Ek and Marcus Foligno would score to give the Wild the 2-0 lead, but Andrew Ladd would score to get the Coyotes on the board. In the second period Kevin Fiala, Dmitry Kulikov, and Kirill Kaprizov would score to give the Wild the four goal lead. Then in the third period Shayne Gostisbehere would score for the Coyotes, but it would not be enough as the Wild would take the 5-2 victory.
