3 Questions:

Will there be any adjustment period with Berndtsson?

Sometimes with rookies, there is a bit of an adjustment period. However, that’s not always the case with goalies; with prime examples being Meeri Raisanen and fellow Swede Lovisa Selander. They just hit the ground running and playing excellent hockey, giving their team an advantage. After boasting some impressive numbers in Sweden in the SDHL, including being a SDHL Champion in 2016-17, will those stats translate to North America?

Will Suokko thrive in the North American game?

Again, talking about the adjustment period to a new environment, Jenna Suokko coming over from Finland, will she hit the ground running, or will it take a couple of games to get into the flow of things? If you look at the last 4 seasons she’s played in the Naisten Liiga, she raked up 111 Games, scoring 60 goals and adding another 66 assists, for a grand total of 126 points. Much like with Berndtsson, will those numbers translate to the North American game?

How far will the Beauts go?

This seems like kinda a ridiculous question since the basic answer is: considering how well the team plays, however far they want to go. It’s not an unfair question though. During the campaign in Lake Placid, the Beauts didn’t get off to a great start, but were coming on late. Due to unfortunate circumstances, they were not allowed to participate in the playoffs, where who knows what would’ve happened. Any givin’ day right? GM Nate Oliver has built himself a pretty interesting team, with a solid mix of veterans and rookies. How far can the team really go?
