- New York Islanders v. Nashville Predators – 130p ET
- In a matinee contest in Nashville, the Predators look to take a bite out of the Islanders. In the first period, New York gets on the board first when Anthony Beauvillier get his third goal of the year, a power play goal, at 14:46. In the second period, Nashville ties the contest when Tanner Jeannot scores his third of the year. The Islanders re-take the lead when Olive Wahlstrom scores a power play goal, his fourth goal of the year at 12:04. In the third, the Predators tie the game when Jeannot scores his second of the game. After a scoreless overtime period, the contest moves to the shootout where Roman Josi scores the winner in the third round as the Predators win 3-2 over the Islanders.
- Montreal Canadiens v. Los Angeles Kings – 4p ET
- In Los Angeles, the Montreal Canadiens look to win their second game in a row. In the first period, Montreal gets on the board late when Josh Anderson scores his second goal of the season. In the second, the Kings tie the contest when Viktor Arvidsson scores his second of the season and LA takes the lead for good when Arthur Kaliyev scores a power play goal, his first goal of the season. As the contest shifts to the third, Rasmus Kupari scores the Kings second power play goal of the afternoon. The goal is Kupari’s second on the season and the Kings take the 3-1 lead. Alex Iafallo then scores his second of the season to give Los Angeles a three goal lead and at 14:16 in the period, Iafallo scores the Kings third power play goal in the game to give the Kings the 5-1 lead. Montreal then scores a shorthanded goal when Ben Chiarot scores his second of the season but the Kings breeze by the Canadiens for the 5-2 win.
- Winnipeg Jets v. San Jose Sharks – 7p ET
- In San Jose, the Sharks look to stop the Jets. After a scoreless first period, Tomas Hertl gets the Sharks on the board early with his third goal of the season. In the third, Winnipeg ties the game when Kyle Connor scores his seventh of the year. In the overtime frame, Timo Meier scores the game winner, his fifth goal of the season, as the Sharks defeat the Jets 2-1.
- Florida Panthers v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET
- In Beantown, the Florida Panthers look to walk out of Boston with a win. In the first period, Charlie Coyle scores his first of the season with 42 seconds left in the period to give the Bruins the 1-0 lead. In the second, Anthony Duclair nets his sixth of the season 47 seconds into the frame to tie the game for Florida. in the third, Aleksander Barkov nets his fifth of the year, a power play goal, to give the Panthers the 2-1 lead. At 13:35, Charlie McAvoy ties the game for Boston with a power play goal, his first goal of the season. After a scoreless overtime session, Charlie Coyle goes on to score the lone goal in the shootout session as the Bruins defeat the Panthers 3-2.
- Detroit Red Wings v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p ET
- In Toronto for an Original Six matchup, the Maple Leafs look to get the win over one of the biggest rivals. In the first period, Jake Muzzin gets the Maple Leafs on the board with 14 seconds left in the period. In the second period, Filip Zedina ties the game for the Red Wings with his second of the year, a power play goal. Toronto re-takes the lead when Michael Bunting scores a power play goal, his third goal of the season, with 18 seconds left in the period. As this contest move to the third, Alexander Kerfoot gives the Maple Leafs a two goal lead with his second goal of the year 17 seconds into the period. Detroit comes within a goal when Joe Veleno gets his first goal of the year. At 7:47, John Tavares nets his third of the year to give Toronto a two goal lead once again. At 10:11, Detroit makes it a 4-3 Maple Leafs lead when Vladislav Namestnikov gets his fourth goal of the year. At 17:55, Mitchell Marner scores his first of the year and 1t 19:31 Filip Hronek scores for Detroit for his first of the year but the Maple Leafs escape as the get the 5-4 win over the Detroit Red Wings.
- New Jersey Devils v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET
- In the Steel City, Pittsburgh looks to get the win with captain Sidney Crosby making his season debut. In the first, Danton Heinen scores his fourth to give the Penguins the 1-0 lead. New Jersey ties the game when Andreas Johnsson scores his second of the year. In the second period, New Jersey takes the 2-1 lead when Jimmy Vesey scores a shorthanded goal, his second goal of the season. In the third, Brock McGinn scores his second of the year to tie it for the Penguins. At 17:00, Jesper Bratt nets his first of the year to give the Devils the lead once more. Johnsson scores his second of the game to secure the win for the Devils as the double up the Penguins with the 4-2 win.
- Chicago Blackhawks v. St. Louis Blues – 8p ET
- In St. Louis, the Blackhawks look to get the win over their division rivals. After a scoreless first and second period, Torey Krug scores the power play goal, and game winner, and Krug’s first of the year, as the Blues get the 1-0 shutout win over the Blackhawks.
- Minnesota Wild v. Colorado Avalanche – 9p ET
- In the Mile High City, the Avalanche look to get the win over the Wild. In the first, Colorado gets on the board when Gabriel Landeskog nets his third. In the second period, Ryan Hartman get the Wild on the board with his fourth of the season. The Avalanche then take the lead for good when Erik Johnson scores his first goal of the season. In the third, Nazem Kadri scores a power play goal, his third to give the Avs the two goal lead. Landeskog then scores his second of the night to give the Avalanche the 4-1 win over the Minnesota Wild.
- Edmonton Oilers v. Vancouver Canucks – 10p ET
- In Vancouver, the Canucks look to strike Oil against their Canadian rival. In the first period, Warren Foegele gets the Oilers on the board with his second goal of the season. In the second, Leon Draisaitl nets a power play goal, his fifth goal of the season to give the Oilers a 2-0 lead. In the third, Brock Boeser scores for the Canucks with six seconds left on the clock but it is not enough as the Oilers get the 2-1 win over Vancouver.
- Philadelphia Flyers v. Calgary Flames – 10p ET
- In the Saddledome, the Flyers look to put the Flames out in Calgary. After a scoreless first, Sean Monahan scores a power play goal, his first goal of the season to give the Flames the 1-0 lead. In the third, Matthew Tkachuk scores his third goal, a power play goal, to give the Flames the 2-0 lead. At 16:11 in the period, Mikael Backlund nets his second goal of the season and Johnny Gaudreau gets his second goal of the season as the Flames go on to get the 4-0 shutout win against the Flyers.
