- In heartbreaking news, Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Matiss Kivlenieks has passed away.
- Kivlenieks suffered chest trauma as a result of a fireworks mortar blast and passed away on Sunday night.

- Tampa Bay Lightning v. Montreal Canadiens – Game 4 – 8p ET
- In Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final the Montreal Canadiens would fight to stay alive in the series against the Tampa Bay Lightning. In the first period Josh Anderson would strike to give the Habs the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Barclay Goodrow would score to tie the game at one. In the third period Alexander Romanov would score for the Habs, but Pat Maroon would score to tie the game at two and send the game to overtime. In the extra frame Anderson would net his second of the game to give the Canadiens the 3-2 victory and force Game 5 on Wednesday night in Tampa.
