  • The Seattle Kraken have announced who their first head coach is in franchise history.
    • The Kraken named Dave Hakstol as their first ever head coach.
    • Hakstol spent the past season with the Toronto Maple Leafs as an assistant coach.
    • Hakstol spent four seasons as head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers.

Game Recaps

  • Vegas Golden Knightsย  v. Montreal Canadiens – Game 6 – 8p ET
    • In Montreal the Vegas Golden Knights look to force a game seven against the Canadiens. In the first period Shea Weber would open the scoring for the Habs while on the powerplay, but Reilly Smith would score to tie the game at one. In the second period Cole Caufield would score to regain the lead for the Habs, and then in the third period Alec Martinez would strike 68 seconds into the period to tie the game. In overtime Artturi Lehkonen would strike to give the Canadiens the 3-2 victory and 4-2 series victory to advance to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 1993.
