- Tampa Bay Lightning v. New York Islanders – Game 6 – 8p ET
- In Long Island for game six the Tampa Bay Lightning look to close out their semifinal series against the New York Islanders. In the first period Brayden Point would score in his ninth consecutive playoff game to give the Bolts the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Anthony Cirelli would score to grow Tampa’s lead to two, but thanks to poor officiating, Mathew Barzal would hook and take down a Lightning player to allow Jordan Eberle to score and get the Isles on the board. In the third period Scott Mayfield would tie the game at two with a nice shot, but also because of Tampa allowing the Isles to control the play to force overtime. In the extra frame Anthony Beauvillier would score to give the Islanders the 3-2 victory to force game seven on Friday night.
