Game Recaps

  • Boston Bruins v. New York Islanders – Game 6 – 730p ET
    • On Long Island the New York Islander would host the Boston Bruins, and in the first period Travis Zajac would open the scoring for the Isles, but Brad Marchand would strike on the powerplay to tie the game at one. Then in the second period the Isles would put the game out of reach as they would get a pair of goals from Brock Nelson and a tally from Kyle Palmieri to give the Isles the 4-1 lead. In the third period Marchand would net his second powerplay goal of the game, but goals from Cal Clutterbuck and Ryan Pulock would give the Islanders the 6-2 victory over the Bruins and take the series 4-2 to advance to face the Tampa Bay Lightning in the semi finals.
