Isles Tie Up The Series

Tonight is the Game 4 matchup between the Bruins and Islanders. The Islanders are looking to tie up the series before it heads back to Boston. While the Bruins are looking to take a commanding 3-1 series lead. Here’s how the 2 teams would line up:

There was no scoring in the first period, as the two goalies came up with all the saves on both teams offensive chances. In the second period, it would be the Boston Bruins who would get the first goal of the game. It would be David Krejci who would get his first goal of the playoffs. Assists on the play would come from Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak.

The lead wouldn’t last long, as the Islanders would tie up the game 2 minutes later. The goal was scored by Kyle Palmieri, it is his fifth goal of the playoffs. Assists on the play would come from Matt Barzal and Jordan Eberle. The period would end with both teams tied at 1 a piece.

The Islanders would take the lead for the first time in the game a little over halfway through the period. The goal would be tallied by Marr Barzal, it would be his second goal of the playoffs. Assist on the play would come from Scott Mayfield and Noah Dobson.

Casey Cizikas and JG Pageau would both add the empty net goals to seal the victory for the Islanders as they will tie up the series.
