  • Today is the last Daily to cover the Regular Season for the NHL. Beginning tomorrow we will begin focusing solely on the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

    • In Colorado, a win for the Avalanche gives them the Presidents’ Trophy and home ice advantage for the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs. In the first period, the Kings strike first with a goal by Sean Walker. In the second, the Avs get five goals when Tyson Jost scores twice, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Joonas Donskoi, and Andre Burakovsky to give the Avs the 5-1 lead. With a scoreless third, the Avs breeze by the Kings with the 5-1 and clinch the Presidents’ Trophy.
