Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of February 8th through 14th.
First Stars – Mathew Barzal (C – NYI) and Kelly McLaughlin (Northwell Health – South Shore Univ. Hospital)

- Barzal would play in three games for the Islanders where he would record three goals and four assists for seven points. He would start off the week with an assist in a 2-1 loss to Pittsburgh on March 29th, and then in April 1st Barzal would record three goals and two assists in an 8-4 victory over the Capitals. To close out the week with an assist and a shootout goal in a 3-2 victory over Philadelphia on April 3rd.

Second Star – Martin Jones (G – SJ)
- Jones would go a perfect 4-0-0 with a 1.71 GAA and .942 save percentage. Jones would have 22 saves in a 4-3 win over the Wild on March 29th, and then stopped another 26 shots in a 4-2 victory over Minnesota on March 31st. Then against the Kings he would earn the shootout with a 30 save 3-0 victory on April 2nd, and then to close out the week Jones would make 35 saves for a 3-2 victory over the Kings on April 3rd.

Third Star – Brad Marchand (LW – BOS)
- In three games played for the Bruins, Marchand would record five goals and two assists for seven points. To start the week with a goal and an assist in a 5-4 shootout victory over the Devils on March 30th. Then on April 1st against Pittsburgh he would score the lone goal in a 4-1 loss. To close out the week Marchand would net three goals and an assist in a 7-5 victory over the Penguins on April 3rd.
