Today in the National Women’s Hockey League the Minnesota Whitecaps re-signed a veteran defender.

Rosenthal Returns to Whitecaps

  • The Minnesota Whitecaps have announced that they have re-signed defender Chelsey Rosenthal for her third season.
    • In two seasons with the Whitecaps Rosenthal has played in 39 games since Minnesota joined the NWHL.
    • Rosenthal was an integral part of the 2019 Isobel Cup Champion Whitecaps, and was a force in helping them make the 2020 Isobel Cup Championship before COVID-19 ended the season prematurely.
