The Golden Knights look to continue riding their wave of momentum heading into Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, but the Stars will look to retake the series lead. In the first period both teams would trade powerplay opportunities, but no goals would come as a result that would see Vegas out shoot Dallas 12 to 4, and both teams combine for 41 hits in the first 20 minutes of the game. Before the end of the second period, Jamie Oleksiak would get one past Robin Lehner. Dallas would take a 1-0 lead heading into the third period. Vegas would get an early goal in the third period to tie up the game. Dallas would answer right back to regain the lead. Alex Tuch would tie the game up to send it to overtime. In overtime, Alexander Radulov would get the game winner to give the Stars a 2 to 1 series lead.
