First Period:
The Flyers, seemingly eager to prove that game 1 was a fluke, opened the scoring less than two minutes in to the game with Kevin Hayes notching his second of the playoffs.

The fun wasn’t over then. Sean Couturier made it 3-0 late in the first with a great move.
That was the end for Varlamov, as Greiss replaced him.

The Islanders did not give up though, with the only scoring of the second period being a goal by Anders Lee to cut the lead to 3-1.
Third Period:
The third period was all Islanders as Anthony Beauvillier scored his seventh of the playoffs.
Pageau evened the score to send the game in to overtime.
Overtime:
The Flyers showed great resilience in not folding after giving up a three goal lead as Myers ended the game.
