Canucks Dominate Blues to Advance

Out west the Blues and Canucks faceoff for Game 6 of their series as the Canucks look to close out the series, and in the first period it would be Jay Beagle striking early to give Vancouver the 1-0 lead.

Then in the third period the Canucks would continue the assault as Antoine Roussel, Troy Stetcher, and Brock Boeser (PPG) would score to give the Canucks the 4-0 lead. The goal by Stetcher was a real back breaker for the Blues. The Canucks pulled a Harlem Globetrotters on the Blues to create Stetcher’s goal.

Boeser’s powerplay marker would be the final straw to break the camel’s back as Craig Berube would be forced to pull Jordan Binnington for Jake Allen once Vancouver tool the four goal lead. Then in the third period Jaden Schwartz would net a pair of goals for the Blues, but it woud be too little, too late as Tyler Motte would net a pair to give the Canucks the 6-2 vicotry to take Game 6 to advance to the second round.
