New York Islanders v. Florida Panthers – 12p EST Start Time
To start of the action for the seventh day, we would see our first elimination of the day as the Islanders would route the Panthers 5-1. In the first period Anthony Beauvillier would net a pair of goals, but Mike Hoffman would strike for the Panthers before the end of the period. However, in the final forty minutes the Islanders would get goals from Brock Nelson, Matthew Barzal, and Jean-Gabriel Pageau to clinch the series 3 games to 1.
Nashville Predators v. Arizona Coyotes – 230p EST Start Time
Out in Edmonton the Coyotes look to defeat the Predators and advance to the First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. In the first period Michael Grabner would get the Coyotes on the board late in the period. Then early in the second period Phil Kessel would grow the Coyotes lead to two, but Matt Duchene would strike on the powerplay and Viktor Arvidsson would score to tie the game at two. In the third period Jordan Oesterle would score to retake the lead for the Coyotes, but with 32 seconds left in regulation Filip Forsberg would score his third of the series to tie the game at three and send the game to overtime. Then in overtime it would be Brad Richardson 5:27 into the extra frame to give the Coyotes the 5-4 victory and the 3-1 series win to move on the the First Round.

Pittsburgh Penguins v. Montreal Canadiens – 4p EST Start Time
Back in Toronto it would take almost 56 minutes before a goal was scored, but when one was scored, so was the icing on the cake. With 4:11 left in regulation Artturi Lehkonen get the first goal of the game past Tristan Jarry to give the Canadiens the lead. Then with 32 seconds left Shea Weber would seal the deal with the empty netter as the Canadiens would defeat the Penguins 2-0 and eliminate the Penguins 3 games to 1.

Edmonton Oilers v. Chicago Blackhawks – 645p EST Start Time
Back in Edmonton the Oilers would start the game with a Josh Archibald tally 45 seconds into the game, but goals from Brandon Saad and Matthew Highmore would give the Blackhawks the 2-1 lead. In the second period Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would score to tie the game, but in the third period Dominik Kubalik would net his third of the series to give the Blackhawks the 3-2 victory and the 3-1 series victory over the Oilers to advance to the First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Toronto Maple Leafs v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 8p EST Start Time
In Toronto for the Final Eastern Conference game of the day, The Blue Jackets would look to eliminate the Maple Leafs. In the first period the Jackets would get a goal from Cam Atkinson to take the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Vladislav Gavrikov would tally to grow their lead. In the third period Boone Jenner would score to give the Jackets the 3-0 lead, but goals from William Nylander, John Tavares, and Zach Hyman would result in a 3-3 tie, and force the game to overtime. In overtime it would be Auston Matthews striking on the powerplay to give the Leafs the 4-3 comeback victory to tie the series at two a piece.
Vancouver Canucks v. Minnesota Wild – 1045p EST Start Time
In Edmonton to end the elimination filled day, the Wild would get the jump on the Canucks with a Luke Kunin powerplay goal, but Tanner Pearson would strike to tie the game at one. However, before the end of the first period Eric Staal would score for the Wild to take the 2-1 lead. In the second period Joel Eriksson Ek would tally to grow the Wild’s lead to two, but goals from Brandon Sutter and Quinn Hughes (PPG) would tie the game at three. However, in the final minute of the second period Nico Sturm would tally to regain the Minnesota lead. In the third period Bo Horvat would score to tie the game at four and send the game to overtime which would only require 11 seconds as Christopher Tanev would score to give the Canucks the 5-4 victory and the 3-1 series win to advance to the First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
