Game Recaps:
St. Louis Blues v. New Jersey Devils – 7p EST Start Time
In New Jersey the Devils would host the St. Louis Blues, and in the first period both teams would trade goals as Vince Dunn would score for the Blues, and Jespar Bratt would score the Devils. Then in the second period Dakota Mermis and Connor Carrick would score for the Devils, and in the third period Jaden Schwartz would bring the Blues back within one, but a goal from Joey Anderson would give the Devils the 4-2 victory.
Chicago Blackhawks v. Detroit Red Wings – 730p EST Start Time
In Detroit the Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks would only need the second period to decide the game as the Blackhawks would get a goal from Patrick Kane, but goals from Tyler Bertuzzi and Robby Fabbri would give the Wings the 2-1 victory.
Vegas Golden Knights v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p EST Start Time
In Winnipeg the Jets would blank the Vegas Golden Knights. The Jets would get goals from Nikolaj Ehlers, Patrik Laine, Kyle Connor, and Mathieu Perreault to secure the 4-0 shutout victory.
Arizona Coyotes v. Calgary Flames – 9p EST Start Time
In Calgary the Flames would host the Arizona Coyotes, and in the first forty minutes of play would all that would bee needed to decide a victor. In the first period Taylor Hall would score for the Coyotes, but goals from Johnny Gaudreau and TJ Brodie would give the Flames the one goal lead. Then in the second period Carl Soderberg would score for the Coyotes, but Mikael Backlund would score to give the Flames the 3-2 victory.
Colorado Avalanche v. Vancouver Canucks – 10p EST Start Time
In Vancouver the Canucks would honor the 2000’s as they hosted the Colorado Avalanche. The Canucks would get goals from Troy Stetcher, JT Miller, Antoine Roussel, Tanner Pearson, and a pair of goals from Zach MacEwen to give the Canucks the 6-3 victory. Gabriel Landeskog and Valeri Nichushkin would score for the Avalanche.
Toronto Maple Leafs v. Anaheim Ducks – 10p EST Start Time
In Anaheim the Toronto Maple Leafs would continue their California road trip as they take on the Ducks. In the first period Carter Rowney would strike for the Ducks, then after a scoreless second period William Nylander would score for the Leafs, but a Adam Henrique tally would give the Ducks the 2-1 victory.
