Then in the final forty minutes Hornqvist would net his second of the game, and Sidney Crosby would net his 15th of the season to give the Penguins the 4-2 victory. Marcus Johansson would score for the Sabres in the third period for their second goal.
Montreal Canadiens v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p EST Start Time
In Tampa Bay the Lightning would blank the Montreal Canadiens. Victor Hedman would net two goals, and Alex Killorn and Nikita Kucherov would both score to give the Lightning the 4-0 victory.
Boston Bruins v. Florida Panthers – 7p EST Start Time
In Florida the Panthers would host the Boston Bruins in a tightly contested matchup that would require overtime. In regulation Patrice Bergeron and MacKenzie Weegar would score for the Bruins and Panthers respectively, but in overtime it would be Torey Krug with the game winner for the Bruins as they take the 2-1 victory.
Washington Capitals v. New York Rangers – 7p EST Start Time
At Madison Square Garden the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers would play a wild one. For the Capitals they would get goals from Carl Hagelin, Ilya Kovalchuk, Garnet Hathaway, and a pair from Alex Ovechkin, but Tony DeAngelo and a five goal game from Mika Zibanejad would give the Rangers the 6-5 overtime victory.
Carolina Hurricanes v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p EST Start Time
In Philadelphia the Flyers would play host to the Carolina Hurricanes, and despite a goal from Justin Williams for the Hurricanes, the Flyers would get goals from Ivan Provorov, Michael Raffl, Nicolas Aube-Kubel, and Sean Couturier to take the 4-1 victory.
New York Islanders v. Ottawa Senators – 730p EST Start Time
In Ottawa the Senators would claw their way to victory over the visiting New York Islanders. While the Islanders would get goals from Anders Lee, Mathew Barzal, and Ryan Pulock, it would be goals from Connor Brown, Mikkel Boedker, Anthony Duclair, and Brady Tkachuk to give the Senators the 4-3 victory.
Dallas Stars v. Nashville Predators – 8p EST Start Time
In Nashville the Predators would give their community something to cheer for after being hit with devastating tornadoes. Filip Forsberg and Matt Duchene would both score to give the Predators the 2-0 victory.
Edmonton Oilers v. Chicago Blackhawks – 830p EST Start Time
In Chicago the Blackhawks would host the Edmonton Oilers. For the Oilers they would get goals from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Josh Archibald, and Kailer Yamamoto, but it would be goals from Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, and a pair of goals from Alex DeBrincat to secure the 4-3 victory.
Toronto Maple Leafs v. Los Angeles Kings – 1030p EST Start Time
In Los Angeles the Kings would play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and both teams would not score in regulation or overtime to force the shootout which would see Adrian Kempe score the game winner for the Kings as they take the 1-0 victory over the Leafs.

In San Jose the Sharks would play host to the Minnesota Wild, and in the first period Ryan Suter would get the Wild on the board first, but a Stefan Noesen tally would tie the game at one for the Sharks. Then in the second period Alex Galchenyuk and Zach Parise would score to give the Wild the eventual 3-2 victory. Joe Thornton would score the second goal for the Sharks in the third period.
